This is a great idea, Ciaran. It is easy to hear some choice picking/licks/fills giving the song more momentum as it rolls along. I'd like to see the interlude between the two chorus lines cut in half (start "What's the use in dying" at 2:59 rather than 3:05) but that is picking nits. And it might sound like less of a delay with some other instrumentation taking the voice during that part.

Definitely one of the better songs I've heard from you in a while.

I like the melody, but the lyrics are what really struck me here. They're great, I especially like the lines:

Really fantastic song Ciaran...the lyrics by themselves takes the listener to their own conclusion but with the added monologue at the end, it puts everything into perspective. Very well performed my friend. Great use of vocals on this as well...there were a couple of measures where you showed great control....thanks for the share....
