I am learning this, and I don't know why, but the hardest damn thing about this to me is hitting those two quick A notes on the second fret at the beginning of the main riff.

@fingersmcoy Geddy Lee uses a three finger strumming technique on the right hand, as a result he could use 3rd and 2nd to form the quick two note run and then the 1st to hold the note properly. Hence its VERY difficult to do, not necesarily in terms of moving the fingers to it but each line you have to convert it to 3 beats in order to not fuck up the finger strums. Hope this answers ur issue, though im afraid i cant offer any tips since i cant do it either :/

Am sitting in the green room of our church. Just finished our set, and as I read your comment, I can't help but notice the "dumbing down" of music in today's generation: simple power chords with heavy effects, chord charts instead of music, and simple repetitive bass lines that hit on the top of every 1/4 or 1/8th note...and the use of kapo's is out of control! I miss the days of mastery and skill where it took talent to make music and record. Thanx 4 bringin it back!!!
