Very nice flying from third person! I was never able to get the hang of it. How do gauge distance so well? I end up crashing and having a hard time machine-gunning enemies. I'm good at flying from the cockpit view, but that's it. I hate not being able to see the cockpit.

The X-02 is a lot like the CFA-44 of Ace Combat 6, albeit with much more balanced weapons. She's a match for even the mighty SU-37 and F-22, that's for sure. Amazing how much cross referencing there is in the series.

Get S on all missions on hard... After that proceed to buy every single aircraft and variation atleast once. Make sure the ADF-01 isn't on your buying options yet. The reason why I told you to do every mission in hard and get an S is to avoid a glitch that will not allow you to unlock the 3rd sp color. Thumbs up so everyone can see

@acemaster038 the mission I find to be the hardest, is the 8492 mission. the harder difficulty you play, the more relentless they are. The saddest is the mission journey home, I hate that mission. Not cause it's hard, but, well, you know why.

I see that everyone wants to know how the X-02 is unlocked, but can anyone tell me how to unlock its SP color, I read something strange about this, it has a dangerous glitch which makes it unobtainable. Does anyone know it?..

@MrEric sorry, I miss read your post. Yes, you can recieve the x-02 if you have the falken, since the falken does not need to be bought for the x-02 to be unlocked.

Lol i finally got every plane, badge, paint job. I love this game.

I got the Wyvern unexpectedly though. i was messing around on mission 26 and beat it. i looked at the bottom of screen it said a new plane is now availabe. im like WTF? i go to look and its the Wyvern/ X-02 =)

@gmo8492 Here is exactly what to do: There are 5 hangars with the FALKEN parts inside them. you have to destroy them. When destroyed, Thunderhead/ Oka Nieba, will say: "Mechanical parts discovered in destroyed enemy facility". The missions the hangars are in are:

1. Mission 12A, Powder Keg.

2. Mission 12B, Four Horsemen.

3. Mission 16A, Desert Arrow.

4. Mission 16B, Desert Lightning.

5. Mission 27, ACES. You have to get near the hangars to see them. They are gray and red.

@gmo8492 I had to reply again to say where the hangars are located in the missions.

1. In the mission "Powder Keg" look for the river on your map. follow it until it splits into 3 parts. NOTE: the hangar is guarded by a MIR-2000.

2. In the mission "Four Horsemen" You have to, of course, get through the radar network. Then Destroy all specified targets. When the IFF update comes. It will show the hangar. BUT it will be VERY hard to spot.

Anyway, in "Four Horsemen", keep switching targets with the Triangle button until you find the hangar. NOTE: I said they were red so it shouldn't be THAT hard to spot.

3. In the mission " Desert Arrow" Just keep heading straight. After you almost reach the end of the map turn left and head west. You should see the hangar.

4. In the mission " Desert Lightning" The hangar is on the river. Just head to the oild plant and go north.

5. "Aces" Just go straight

@Hkup5 nope I never did...but the sp craft is the X-02...the biggest difference is it doesn't fold its wings in like it does in AC5

This plan is the best one I personally think, you've gotta unlock everything else. Personally I think this thing is unmatched. Granted yeah the Falken is that laser that just equalizes everything. I've always perfered the X-02 Wyvern though.

i say the falken can beat the x-02 if it can aim. cuz i think the falken is the razgriz personal plane. i can even finish the last mission faster cuz i have to fire my lazor in that little hole then kaboom!!! the SOLG is destroyed

The x-02 cost like about $143556754 i dont know but it might be about $4000 more then the termanator / su-37/ but allthough the air planes wepons suck. i also unlocked pixys aircraft. its awesome i blew up almost everything im Ace combat zero.

in the game their are 5 hangers on 5 different missiobs

find each of them and blow them up...you know you hit one when the AWACS Thunder Head says "secret parts found in hanger, lets have the ground forces get them later...the hangers are usually out by themselves with little defenses , just look up Falken here on Youtube I sure someone got it up...and if not reply to me again and I'll look them up myself

I have a question Bonesdman how much does the X-02 cost and do I need to get all of the planes from the F-22 to the Hawk or do I need to get every single plane in the game exept for the Falken in order to get the X-02.

I'm not sure on the cost, its been a looong time since I unlocked it but it don't cost as much as the Falken...and yes you gotta get all planes lvled up and buy at least one or 4 of each (can't remember) but after doing all that fighting to get all planes unlocked money won't be a problem at all...if you want a fast lvl up play the missions on hard and you will have them all lvled in no time

not if you play a mission on hard...the lvl gauge goes up faster making faster to get the X-02...hard not as bad as you think, you just have limited missles and guns and the fights are a little hader but its not that bad

yeah the Falken the only plane you don't have to have to unlock the X-02...if played on hard you make more money to and after you lvled up that many planes buying them won't be a problem

@TeddMorgan have the difficulty higher and having the missions with a lotta planes and ground targets will help in the lvling of a plane...that the only way I can really think of lvling faster

@TeddMorgan yup you get way more exp, thats how I got all my planes...I can suggest Sea of Chaos that show work...or the mission The Journey Home, plane after plane comes after you in that mission...also try and get good with the guns...you don't have to shoot the jets down but try shooting grounds targets or the bigger slower planes...you get more exp when shooting down with guns

you have to unlock all planes from the F-22 all the way to the Hawk and buy at least one of each plane...after buying them the X-02 should show up in hanger when you come back

yeah I think you gotta buy 4 of each (besides the Falken) but after all that fighting you did to unlock the other planes I think you got more than enough money to buy 4 of each plane ^^

thats what it does when you up the thrusters...the X-02 in AC4 didn't fold its wings in but does on AC5...and to get you have to unlock all planes in AC5 and buy one of each...well Falken doesn't have to be unlocked

you have to unlock all planes in the game...under each crafts name their is a green line that fills up when you use that craft, when that line hits max it unlocks the next plane...the best bet is play some free missions on hard and the lines fill up twice as fast...once every plane is unlocked the X-02 shows up in your hanger for purchace
