probably the same jack asses that carve into the trees out there, I just got home about an hour ago from backpacking in that same area. I appreciate the heads up on the theft. We almost left our stuff for a dayhike. Glad we didn't.
I have never had anything stolen on the trail before:( But then again I have never seen so many people in Sipsey either! That weekend was very busy. there were at least 30 people at the big tree while we were there.
Rediculous. We go to the woods to get away from that crap.

Stayed in that same campsite about 2 weeks ago.
Took short hikes but someone stayed at camp.
