Question: isn't saying "you can't just do this on your own" a hypnotic suggestion?
I don't mean to say that you shouldn't be making the disclaimer - this is for food cravings, not addictions, and I understand where you're coming from. HOWEVER, telling people they CAN'T do something positive, no matter what the motivation, "you need help" etc etc feels like unintentional hypnosis.
I might have simply said: "keep in mind that this isn't intended for addiction. There are specialists for that."

About your concern, I think I made my point clearly enough. My concern is that if someone has a serious addiction they take care of themselves and get professional help. I think that is clear.
