The way you put blocks in the lane by shoots and ladders technically you entered the lane by holding shift, however if you try and place a block on the ladder then it gets placed in the lane anyway so that's how you can do it without coming close to cheating or having the other team accuse you of doing so. Also have you watched the other 2 teams that are in the league, Team tunnel rats and 10KMC, tunnel rats are the play testers for vechs and they did very well.
@elementalguy2 - Ladder-block-placement: nice, I am unclear about the lane rule (e.g. player fully in the lane?), but that's a good way to avoid it. I only watched a little of 10KMCvTunnelRats, I should go back and try to watch the rest.
@shadowofcloud9 - You're not allowed to travel in the middle lane between the two playing areas, which means you have to traverse the ladders to get around the bedrock.
(cont.) You can also tell if a stone block will contain a silverfish before you break it by hitting it briefly with your fist and seeing how quickly it appears to break. A normal block will take a long time for the breaking animation to progress, but silverfish blocks can be broken easily without a pick and will progress quickly through the animation
Also, the best way I've seen to deal with silverfish is to set them on fire with flint and steel, which admittedly wouldn't have been very helpful in this map as there isn't much flint around, but it's good for future reference. Hitting them directly will cause more to pop out of nearby blocks, but burning them won't.
It's not quite the same to see this map without competing teams, but it was still fun seeing you puzzle your way through it. Do you have any plans to do one of Vechs' singleplayer maps?
I also have some tips you might find useful: holding right click with a sword will reduce your fall damage when falling, which is something I wish the people playing this map knew about, especially since B-dub seems to enjoy throwing himself off ledges. ;)

With the tnt cannon I would have changed how it was rigged so I could always get a perfect shot as well as have it work with only one button.
