I agree with that Re1gns person - they cram about 10 people into one house, they work from sun up to sun down, and they send money back to their families/extended families in Mexico.

alright.. so if we paid attention to history we would remember that NAFTA and CAFTA are doing the same thing as illegal immigrants.. U.S corporations make companies in places like Mexico without worrying about being taxed and out of nation tariff. thus America benefiting more from Mexican labor than Mexico. so phil, when you say that the people that come here to support their family back home are leeches.. well then... so is America.. for the argument that we need mexican immigrants for their cheap labor and in that way they give back to the economy............are you serious? think about all the taxes that people pay BESIDES sales tax. its a vast ammount of money. and the only reason that it seems all physical labor workers appear to be mexicans is because they'll work for $8/hr instead of $10/hr, thus more likely to get hired. other people will do the work if given the opportunity at a fair price
though MANY illegal immigrants don't have SSNumbers, they DO have tax ID numbers and pay their taxes like everybody else...
and like akashacatbat said, many of them do jobs that most of us wouldn't even want to do-- for less than ideal pay...

While illegal immigrants do provide services cheaper than a citizen would once they have kids the kids are citizens thus they qualify for government funding thus the country loses money paying for all these kids whose parents can't afford to pay for basic necessities but still continue to pop out a kid every 9 months, who also qualify for help, thus they are leeches
While your remarks about illegal immigrants isn't necessarily racist, it is unbalanced. They would only be leaches, if their labour didn't represent a value increase. Which it does, or else they wouldn't be hired to do that job for someone. Employers get a value increase in exchange of giving a wage. Since immigrants usually doesn't get over compensated, but rather equal and more often under compensated. Their labour can be quite profitable for the country, even without taxation.

i gotta disagree about the ilegal immigrant thing, im from CA, and there are lots of illegals here, but their not getting masses of money, they ussually come here in search of a better life, i've heard stories of the hardships people brave just to come here, and after they come here they dont just leave, they work the crappiest jobs for the lowest wages, CA's economy pretty much DEPENDS on the illegal immigrants cheap labor, plus these guys arent rly striking it rich, they live in bad conditions

for the argument that we need mexican immigrants for their cheap labor and in that way they give back to the economy............are you serious? think about all the taxes that people pay BESIDES sales tax. its a vast ammount of money. and the only reason that it seems all physical labor workers appear to be mexicans is because they'll work for $8/hr instead of $10/hr, thus more likely to get hired. other people will do the work if given the opportunity at a fair price

While illegal immigrants do provide services cheaper than a citizen would once they have kids the kids are citizens thus they qualify for government funding thus the country loses money paying for all these kids whose parents can't afford to pay for basic necessities but still continue to pop out a kid every 9 months, who also qualify for help, thus they are leeches

While your remarks about illegal immigrants isn't necessarily racist, it is unbalanced. They would only be leaches, if their labour didn't represent a value increase. Which it does, or else they wouldn't be hired to do that job for someone. Employers get a value increase in exchange of giving a wage. Since immigrants usually doesn't get over compensated, but rather equal and more often under compensated. Their labour can be quite profitable for the country, even without taxation.
