I am an mma fighter and have won a few toughmen and I now corner for the toughest and baddest brawl. And from my experience, 90 percent of guys who actually train get the fuck beat out of them in a toughman..its hard to stay technical when inside a 20ft box and the other guy is windmilling around..

Um. My brother is an amateur MMA fighter, and he constantly trains. He has done toughman competitions, and won them. He never gets hit because he can stay technical. Also, he is a small heavyweight (210lbs) And he beats the snot out of the bigger heavyweights. Technique does matter in a 20ft box bro.

You're wrong, if the guy comes out swinging boxing is the best thing to do. all you really have to do is have a quick jab and they'll start running into punches like an idiot. its real easy, and sense its only 3 rounds witch are 1 minute rounds it should be really easy.any way, im joining this year so ill put a video up showing you exactly what im talking about.

These fights are pretty sad. I'm not saying I'm a pro fighter or anything, but just about every one of these fighters starts flailing when you come within two feet of them. That makes them easy targets after round one when they've completely gassed.

If you really are the guy in the white trunks, you are the best of the terrible fighters who joined that shit. You got winded way too fast for not even throwing that many punches. Go up against a real fighter and you'd get worked. And I'm not even saying go against a pro, you could try and box one of the boxers at my gym (all boxing gym) and you'd get beat. But hey, atleast you can throw a punch unlike every fighter in that contest.

Hm, maybe it's only where I live but I thought any pro trained fighters couldn't join those. My friend said they wouldn't let him join cause then he'd lose his Amateur status as a boxer.

I think if you had over 5 amateur fights you can't join but that's if you voluntary that information I know a heavy weight John Cobb who was a pro fighter as well as tough-mans champion. I think things might have changed now though with all the deaths linking to boxers you might be right
