and this is not the only Jewel song in the world. Are you actually familiar with her work besides this song? She is far from being categorized as a simple a pop singer. Just listen to some of her other songs like, Foolish Games, You Were Meant for Me, Good Day... one thing Jweel is not is a "pop-singer" she's more of a contemporary folk rock singer. Intuition just happens to sound very pop-ish.

Yes, but that's exactly my point. She sold herself down the river to do a Paris-Hilton-esque Lindsay lohan album, when she's actually got talent. Don't get me wrong, I'd give her one regardless... but this is a bit of a sell out. As a pop song it's pretty good.... but the whoring out? And what age is she now? Thirty-something? As I said, I definitely WOULD, but this seems cheesy. Check out Mad-TV's sketch on this tune 'Prostitution'. Ciao!

I think she does different types of music just because she can. She's a rare talent that can do more than one genre of music, not many artists of today can do this. I mean, she just released a country album not too long ago and its actually real good. She can do just about anything. Intuition is still a great song whether its pop or not. and come on... she is so much better than Lindsay and Paris. Why compare her to them?

She is of course better than them, but she decided to step into their genre and made a song and album of poptastics hits, hence the comparison. She undoubtedly is very talented. Too much prerecorded tracks on stage. Especially lot's of vocals. They could play them all live but I guess TV show doesn't pay enough for all the musicians that will be on the stage. After all we should not expect an MTV Music Awards performance from a late night show.
