My school has a live TV station throughout the entire building for the morning announcements and the pledge, and I was chosen to creative an original piece of writing like a poem or haiku about respect for anti-bullying week in April to present for the school about what it means to bring respect to everyone, not just your friends. They said I could provide a song in the background. And I think I know my song now... :) Reflection by Christine Aguilera might be the best song I know to use. :)

This is such a meaningful song. It shows that you don't have to be "someone else" all your life and that you should be you. You should respect yourself and the things you have accomplished. It also helps having Christina Aguilera singing the song, because she has a beautiful voice!
i remember working in boston market back in 98 when this used to come on all the time. i thought it was a beautiful song and wondered who it was that sung it...thereafter, the rest was history lol. christina would become one of the greatest singers ever.

This song goes perfect for the character in the book I'm writing. Her name is Jaylin and she is the daughter of two knights. Both her parents died when she was one and she was sent to live with a man named Nicholas. Her brother had been captured, she doesn't want to be a knight, but she has to if she wants to save her brother. So when I was typing out the part when she looks at her reflection in a lake with her full suit of armor on she falls to her knees and cries, knowing that this isn't her.

This is such a meaningful song. It shows that you don't have to be "someone else" all your life and that you should be you. You should respect yourself and the things you have accomplished. It also helps having Christina Aguilera singing the song, because she has a beautiful voice!

i remember working in boston market back in 98 when this used to come on all the time. i thought it was a beautiful song and wondered who it was that sung it...thereafter, the rest was history lol. christina would become one of the greatest singers ever.
