I don't know anything about the brand history, but I have an old electric 12-string beauty that I picked up at a yard sale 20 or so years ago... Excellent singing Carol, your timbre of voice is tailor-made for this Musical style and man I love this style,always a decent chord sequence (like Ray Charles used to state) and good melody. Vic- Thank you so much for coming by and giving a listen to my covers. Regarding the guitar - yes! That was dads "blondie" as he called it. Man he loved that thing. I wish I knew more about it... I can say that the plate on the front says "Harmony" but I can swear there are other letter up at the head - way too worn to read. A friend on here said perhaps it was an obscure brand made to look like a Gibson? I think that's what they said.

Well Carol, Harmony is an existing brand guitar, of course it's not a Gibson but certain brands like Epiphone (which I own are good instruments) they're made in the tradition of Gibson but like someone once put it so well, it's the poor mans Gibson, on the other hand let's not be blinded by Status,in the end a good player can make every instrument sound good,music is in the mind and fingers, cheers Vic.
