  • delicious ladfy

  • Hands down the best looking gracie

  • Pretty much hip flexors training, not really focusing on the abs

  • @carlotapuig

ever did leg raises on a chin up bar?? if you had you would know it's bullshit what you're saying...for sure the hip flexors get also involved but I don't know any harder exercises for the abs than the hanging ones...

  • @LLuuuK Hey dudes. I'll agree that the haning leg raises are hard, both for rectus abdominis and the iliop psoas. Though the leg raise part of the exercise doesn't incooparate the abs that musch, its more the crunching movement that attacks the abs. Iliops Psoas main function is flexion over 90 degrees, while the redtus abdominis makes a flektion of the lumbal columna.

    regards Anders

  • @andersrne any leg lifting uses the rectus heavily for stabilisation of the lumbar spine to counter the back extension.

  • @carlotapuig there is no ab isolation in sport, rectus is almost always used with hip flexors. In grappling the hip flexors are hugely important but you need strong abs to counter asociated lumbar stresses. You cant use flexors without using the abs as well, its impossible.

  • F fancy equipment!!
