If you can't afford a Ferrari or a Lamborghini then the Ducati is your best option.....Honda CBR600rr looks radical too IMO.

The video is more of a sales campaign than what it should have been; A performance comparison. The Duk is far superior to the Honda on a road course and quality wise. My choice between the two is the 848, of course. A far better comparison would have been the Duk vs a Triumph 675, where my choice would be the Trump. Actually it's big brother, the 1050 Speed Triple.

an 848 is only like $12,999 which considering how fast and overall well built it is seems like an insanely good deal. i mean some of those honda's and shit are more expensive for an inferior bike not that they arent really good themselves but its like an evo (mitsubishi) vs sti ...evo's better stock

last year i bought a cbr600rr first bike love it ..the exaust under seat is owsom but the dual under the ducati and its sound and looks got me im going to buy a 848 evo now too echo the streets of nyc this summer.....im keeping the cbr for my brasilian wife...love bolth bikes and ill let you know about the ducati later ...

The choice between the two of these would probably be one of the hardest decisions ever for me. I'm a huge Honda fan and prefer the inline-4 sound but the 848 is just soooooo sexy in white.

Anyone else bothered by the way the 2010 cbr600rr sits? I am 6 ft tall and i have to slide my ass down toward the tank to get my feet on the ground and even then the rearsets are right in the wrong spot and I have to stand super awkward. Sitting on it gives me other issues where my knees don't seem to sit right on it. The ducati on the other hand just morphs me into being one with the bike, with my ass on the back of the seat my posture is just perfect. ~4k more though... jeez

You can ride in style as long as you budget for it properly and patiently ahead of time. Most Ducati owners I know are not rich by any means, they are just devoted to their hobby/sport.

The japanese inline 4 engines are great for high-revving race applications, but they still sound like a gay man crying on his boyfriend's shoulder. Plus the jap sport bikes have TERRIBLY generic looks. V-twin guttural roar is guaranteed to drop panties in 2 seconds flat.
