Now the military is seeking disciplinary action against this man, who was pulled into their scheme, even so much that he has a tattoo of the twin towers on his neck, he joined up on 2001 when he was 18, and now he might get executed in a military base dungeon.
The fact that he broke a rule is besides the point, it should be his message that holds value.
I wonder why some messages get spammed for questioning the censorship and broken signal.
They can receive messages from the moon but loose signal in Iowa, why didn't they give him another chance to speak? I'm sure this will be censored too. I can't believe people would defend their government even after 200 years of extortion, murder, and theft. I guess the land of the brave is a joke.
@sagequan No, I'm pretty sure the regs say that he can't campaign or participate in political rallies while in uniform, regardless of whether he is a candidate or not.
Mother FUCKERS!!!! he clearly said that Israel could handle IRAN and how sick he was of the United States picking wars with other countries. its sickening watching this
Regardless of anyone's opinion on whether it should be allowed or not, it IS against regulations for service members of any branch to do things like that in uniform. It's a fact.
@TheClassic0074 Ah, but as with all things, there's got to be a time and a place and reason to pick a fight. Disobeying an order to kill an innocent or a non-combatant makes one a hero. Disobeying an order of a mundane nature equals either a sign of ignorance (not likely given time in service) or a surefire way to discredit ones self.
The Jew Dana Bash: ... as I hear, somebody who just did go vote for Ron Paul, a first-time caucus voter, Corporal Jesse Thorsen who is 28 years old, and you are active duty US Army. Why did you vote for Ron Paul?
CPL Thorsen: Well, I'm really excited about a lot of his ideas, especially when it comes to bringing the soldiers home. I've been serving for 10 years now and all 10 years of those have been during wartime. I'd like to see a little peacetime Army and I think he has the right idea.

Our corrupt ZionCorp media cut off a soldier who is AGAINST the US attacking Iran on behalf of Israel. ZionCorp own the US media and they will not tolerate anyone who says Israel can stand on their own without $3 Billion per year from US taxpayers.
So all the soldiers contributions to Ron Paul was larger than all the other candidates combined & in Iowa the soldiers would of had to been present to cast a vote. They sent us a message & expected us to stand up for them. BUT, Only 3 % of ALL the Iowans even cared enough for the country to get off their ass and vote tonight. Of that 3% Ron came in 3rd. NO ONE in this country has any right to complain about our government with a record like this. The soilders now know how much you care. PATHETIC

Sorry guys, but last I checked there are regulations against showing up at a political event in uniform and campaigning for a candidate in uniform. His doing so in this manner implies a representation of the armed forces as a whole...and as such is punishable under the UCMJ. Honestly, I hope the clown is held accountable. 10 years in, he should know better.
@DwayneReports I'm not denying his contributions to the fight nor his service and sacrifice to our country, what I'm saying is that he is making a stupid mistake in violating a simple regulation regarding the military and political activism and allowing himself to be caught not just by CNN but Fox as well...two of the nations leading news agencies. 10 years in, I can guarantee this guy has heard the briefings every time an election cycle comes around telling him not to do this.
@mine8009 You know what, standing up for what you believe in is never a stupid thing. If he gets fired from the army, people would be outraged. There's a little thing called the Constitution and in that theres the Bill of Rights and the 1st and foremost right is freedom of expression. I dont think that regulation would stand a chance against the constitution in a court of law.
@DwayneReports okay, yay for hypocrisy. This guy has been in the army for 10 years, he just like i did, raised his right hand swore an oath and signed on the line saying that we would obey the regulations and orders of the officers appointed over us. I'm not saying he doesn't have the right to freedom of speech, but what I am saying is that those of us in uniform are held to a higher standard and one of the sacrifices we made is an acceptance of limitations on our rights.
@DwayneReports Wrong Again! He signed the line that says he would obey the orders of the officers appointed over him and he just broke that order. Once you sign your name on that contract for the US military you are held to that contract just like a cell phone contract you break, you PAY.
When you join the military, you forfeit some of those rights, such as freedom of speech. I guess not so much forfeit, but they aren't as lax as a civilians would be.
@DwayneReports That's something many civilians tend not to understand about the sacrifices the men and women serving in our military make. Everybody else have minimal limitations placed upon their freedoms to exercise their rights. Our men and women in the military, in order to preserve the impartial appearance and objectivity of the armed forces, have certain limitations placed upon us, and this is especially evident in the conditions governing our freedom of speech.
@mine8009 How else would he tell his story? No one will listen to you unless you do something wrong. Hey, remember who made Time Magazine's person of the year for 2011 right?
@mine8009 Perhaps we should focus on the violations of the constitution, perpetrated by "elected officials" who definitely know they are doing Americans injustices'.
@ascension1117 Cool, lets do that, he still doesn't need to be in uniform to do that. The regs are there for a reason, they serve to prevent the misrepresentation of the opinions of one as the opinion of the masses.
@mine8009 Oh but they can be interviewed? Shut the fuck up and think about who you call a clown.
I justify his comments as Ron Paul was the most supported candidate over all the others combined. If the military were it's own Democracy, the president would be Ron Paul.
@jordach545 Yes, they can be interviewed, but they can not make political endorsements in uniform or use their position in the military to prop themselves up as a voice or representation of the opinions of the rest of the military. He did just that, especially when he stood up on Ron Pauls platform and gave an endorsement in uniform (something in clear violation of the regulations and orders he has made an oath to obey.)
@DwayneReports The fact of the matter is many people will not see that. They'll see the uniform, they'll see the badges, they'll see the name tapes and in their minds it will imply official sanctioning of some part via the army. That's exactly what the reg is there to prevent. I'll give the guy props for standing by his ideological beliefs, however, the way he did it was not the way that he has agreed to do so by his oath.
@AnarchistMonk That's fine, because .5% of this country serves in uniform. Every last service member agreed to play by the rules when they signed their contract and raised their right hand to take that oath. Secondly, your argument is already status quo given the populations in the military are increasingly representative of a specific minority in the American population (research from studies published in Time magazine and DoD News articles).
@mine8009 You know, the way I see it he earned the uniform, and so he should be able to wear it. Plus that rule is a very old one that is never enforced unless people actually call to his unit complaining.
@sagequan Yeah, he earned the uniform, but part of earning that uniform was agreeing to sacrifice some of the rights that he had as a civilian. He can't have it both ways.
@mine8009 Soldiers literally sign away their constitutional rights. Although inexplicably counted in U.S. employment statistics, they are not employees but conscripts who belong to the military! For example, military service is not a job from which one can simply quit and walk away! Soldiers also have no right to free speech, most especially when it comes to anything having to do with the activities of their unit, right or wrong.
@JoeTaibiJr Wow, you should really check your sources. Servicemen and women don't sign away their rights, they place certain limitations on those rights. We have as much say as anybody else in the civilian populace, we just can't do it in uniform or use our position to gain some sort of traction. If you don't like to play by the rules, you're free to walk away after your term is done. He's been in 10 years...obviously he doesn't think the rules are that bad.
@sagequan You're free to see it however you like, but what I'm saying is that the military doesn't see it your way. One of the things I learned that I guess I'd forgotten is just how little civilians understand what it means to be in the military. Our sacrifices don't just include deployments and missed celebrations with loved ones. By volunteering to serve, we also place limitations on our own rights by agreeing to live by a stricter law.
@mine8009 all im saying is that if no one calls his unit raising hell he pretty much got away home free. To me it always seemed disgusting to me to see airmen and soldiers running around town in BDUs. Im a Marine and I always thought it was funny....look what it leads to..
