The federal government in the past has cut healthcare transfer payments to provinces out of fear that bond-breakers on Wall Street will lower our credit rating/ thus increasing our interest rate on the debt we ow to International Banks. We're all connected in this new age neo-liberal hyper global-capitalism. It doesnt matter if your right/left wing. ultimately it is the banks that decide what policies/legislation our politicians should focus on. they control our government, not the people.
