Whats so amazing is this is a FREAKING HIGH SCHOOL! I went to a high school about 20 minutes from there and the talent there is truly amazing. I thought our high school did decent productions then we are put in our place. Then again, the difference in budget is thousands and thousands.

there is.. they are just in a separate room. they play live each show but there's a nice camera system set up so that the singers see the conductor and vice versa. there's just not really the room out front...

the set was AMAZING, good choreography, but the singing wasn't the best i heard. Harry S Truman High School in Levittown, Pa had some singers that would blow these ones out of the water.

actually, we were sent a script that told her to go high, even though she is an alto. this is because aida hit the high note in the broadway production. i remember that katherine barely talked through the whole production just to save her voice.

Now the comment I have to make is this. I at first was wondering if she was the one who belted the high e flat at the end. My reason for originally douting was because their's two versions of this performance on here. You have this one and a shorter version. Her transition from the "its enough" part on here the its can be heard but her vabrada at the end is the dead give a way its her. On the shoter version you reall cant hear her sing "Its"

How long did it take to finish the whole production from start of auditions to end show?

auditions are set for the end of the year before...so we do about 10 shows a school year so Holly (the main Bradford director...she directed Aida) has auditions for the NEXT school year (07-08) next week (mine is may 4th)...u do one audition...u sing about 32 measures of a song and do a 1 minute monologue...then over the summer Holly n the other directors put u in shows accordingly then the opening nights are scheduled and u begin rehearsal about 2 months before opening nite
