  • Personally, I think Obama was elected so there wouldn't have been rioting over O.J.Simpson being jailed.

  • why would anybody not like the constitution party? why the hell did you even write that stupid document if you don't even follow it?

just burn it all and institute overlord obama as eternal ruler of america

  • I went from Anarcho-Syndicalism to Anarcho-Libertarianism thanks to Paul and the philosophy of Liberty. Great argument - I couldn't agree with you more!

  • 20 dislikes? Really?

  • This progressive hates these disgusting wars!!!

  • .youtube.com/watch?v=-7Nm6lH764g&list=FLiziktKnx4I7hpu9Lg6rapg&index=1&feature=plpp_video

  • I'm sure Wrong Paul's supporters are some of the "nicest" white supremacists out there.

Wrong Paul may be telling the truth as he sees it, but he cherry picks the facts he uses to support that truth. He loves to point out the economic side of black slavery ending in Europe, but he wont go near the regulated economic policies that bailed out Iceland and other countries in Europe because enforced ethical behavior is too much like violence to libertarians.

    That's not respectable behavior.

  • you sir have a new subscriber

  • you should seriously run for president next election Tom... you would kill in the debates.. if they gave you the time of day.. :/

  • @zwiiyt And the nitwit opponents as usual made fools of themselves.

  • Obama got the Nobel Prize for peace. Krugman the NP for economics. I can only conclude that the NP has become completely meaningless.

  • People may not realize it but the libertarian philosophy of not initiating violence is the most successful strategy in the science of game theory. It's called tit for tat.

  • It's good to hear intelligent commentary in the great circus act that is the presidential race. You're doing good work Tom Woods, please keep it up!

  • It's all mumbojumbo...

  • yes tom woods! this is why I lost my respect for left wingers.

  • The President cant end medicare, social security, and taxation in general.

But the President CAN immediately end the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and any other place the US has troops.

  • Well spoken! I'll be sharing.

  • I read that article on Alternet. It should be called the Two reasons .... to treat ron paul with Caution.

The reproductive issue has SOME merit, not much, but some. And the John Birch Society thing is a little creepy.

But to say Ron Paul is anti gay or anti black or anything like that is just str8 up retarded.

  • My step dad(neo- conservative) was watching the debate with me and pre debate i told him how there really wasn't a difference between mitt romney and Obama and i told him how the advisors romney had for romneycare were the same ones that obama had for obamacare, and he said i was wrong b/c obama was far more liberal. I told him they voted almost identically..but i couldn't get through to him.

  • respect to you from Poland. Ron Paul 2012 one of very few sane politicians on this planet

  • Another great video! I tell you what I really want to steal ron paul from you americans! I live in the UK and we really need someone like him so I could possibly even think about voting!

Ron paul is the only politician I've ever liked! You can just tell by the way he talks he is not brainwashed! Most other politicians have that unmistakable drone or the super cheesy propaganda passion speech!

When the hell has a "normal" person spoken to you like a politician does? They are so FAKE!

  • You are awesome.

  • I used to be somewhat 'progressive' until it became obvious I was being manipulated into accepting more debt and the expansion of federal government both at home and abroad. I'm not as libertarian as Ron Paul, but I would like to see the power the feds usurped knocked back several decades, so he has my vote.

  • I HAVE joined. I'm donating what I can to each "money bomb" and will likely sign up to make phone calls. I am an ardent Ron Paul supporter.

That said, I am slowly coming to the sad realization that the military industrial complex, big oil, wallstreet, the cia, (all of whom likely control the MSM) and maybe even the cosa nostra will never allow RP to be elected. Four years of peace and common sense spending would kill them.

That said, RP has changed the landscape of American Politics forever.

  • @rubbersole79

Thats why he should pick Jesse Ventura as VP. The bastards can't even start to handle him. At least they can deal with gentleman Paul and would never have Ventura just a heartbeat away from Paul - thats why Ventura is his best life insurance.

  • Love your channel Tom Woods! I also saw through the Obama BS back in 2008! I l live in Chicago, and I can tell you I was the only one in my group of friends, and my community that saw through the Obama BS. Heck I remember going to see WWE Monday night Raw live the last night of George W. Bush. The crowed booed Bush's face on screen, and I was the only one to boo Obama's face on screen. And I thank Ron Paul for helping me educate myself to smell a rat when I see it!

  • They aren't liked because they are part of the seven mountains /Christian dominion-ism (constitution party). To be frank, I am personally against them and it would be a deal breaker for me. These dominionists are crazy and dangerous. Ron Paul votes against a lot of bills he knows are going to pass anyway. He has even added things to bills and then voted against the bill, knowing the bill would pass. I like RP, I will vote for him, but he is FAR from perfect and is a slick politician.

  • How can I talk to someone who won't accept indisputable facts? When I open up the 9/11 commission report and show people that our own C.I.A. admits that Al Quad-ea attacked on 9/11 due to our occupation in Middle Eastern countries and their response is: This is simply a fabrication the Muslims want you to believe. How am I suppose to argue wit that? My own family will not look at facts yet they're more than willing to accept polls with no more than 60 votes as a no chance for Ron Paul.

  • @lebarondepropane LOL. I think communism fails largely FOR that reason. IDK, maybe I'm too idealistic but I'm pretty convinced there's still plenty of goodness out there for truly free market capitalism to produce mankind's best potential. History shows us this pretty clearly.

  • @bazookafluke History is mostly a lie. Did your history textbook tell you that MLK cheated on his wife? Or that Columbus enslaved and murdered millions of Native Americans, causing a dozen genocides? No, the rich always write the history books, that's why you're stupid enough to think that somehow, the rich are benevolent aristocrats, which they clearly are not.

Communism is economically flawless, with the right people in charge. Unregulated Capitalism will always result in a HUGE inequality.

  • @LeBaronDePropane

Is "economically flawless" doublespeak for "completely insulated from consumer preference and competition"? Forgive me, I've kept my finger far away from the pulse of authoritarianism since I became Libertarian. And as for inequality...

Though I don't think it's necessarily a good or bad thing by itself, I cannot imagine any greater inequality than that of a bureau of planning owning literally everything and everyone in a circumscribed area.

  • @PanzerDivisionBOM

    Communism? Authoritarian? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Authoritarian is society run by discipline obedience, and submission to authority.

Communism is economic, ONLY, it has nothing to do with government or one's personal life.

Soviet Russia and China are syncretic, meaning they pretended to be Communists, but they had a fascist agenda all along.

You're unopinionated on inequality? 98% of American money is owned by 1% of the population. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

  • @LeBaronDePropane 98% seems a bit exaggerated, but it is high. However that has nothing to do with the free market and is a result of fascism/corporatism. Wall Street paper pushers and well connected corporations would lose overnight because they are an outgrowth of the state. True there would be inequality in wealth, but in the market you have to provide value in order to gain wealth. And we still need prices to allocate resources efficiently. No 'right people' can imitate the invisible hand.

  • @LibertyPanacea 1% of the population owns 98% of the wealth. Only Fox News would say otherwise. If you had even read the Wealth of Nations, you'd see that the "invisible hand" does no good. Free-market and taxing the CEO's less than the average worker OBVIOUSLY results in inequality. You're clearly using "double-think" to swallow a lie. Reality control will not help you, your society, or the world. "Double-think" only helps the rich.

  • @LeBaronDePropane

"Communism is economic, ONLY, it has nothing to do with government or one's personal life."

You propose an agency that owns 100% of everyone and everything. All that power of deprivation which you consider arbitrary, controlling and exploitative when wielded by competing entrepreneurs and capitalists, and much more besides, aggregated to one, single agency. You're completely dependent upon its decrees and products for every aspect of your survival and comfort, and it is -

    -

  • -

    - not dependent upon your consent for anything - if it decides not to give you food, then you don't get food, and the closest thing to an appeal is, at best, to seek asylum in an adjecent territory. And you still maintain the minarchistic conceit that you can somehow limit the scope of its conduct to only those activities of which you personally approve?

    "98% of American money[...]"

Aside from the US being a complete strawman for capitalism such as it is advocated for by Libertarians, -

    -

  • -

    - you're still only talking 3 million people out of 300 million, owning 98% of the assets. You're proposing 100% being owned by, at most, perhaps a few thousand planners. I really don't think you would have a leg to stand on here, even if I did care more about equality of outcome.

  • @LeBaronDePropane what amazes me is how many of those who ostensibly worship at the altar of Smith seem to have failed to read anything other than the dust jackets of his works.

Theory of Moral Sentiments MUST be read to give WON context.

  • @bazookafluke you ARE too idealistic.

capitalism inevitably leads ti enslavement-- it is its nature.

  • Awesome Video. Nice points Tom!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • I am with you Tom Woods!!!!! This liberal democrat is voting for Ron Paul because he is the one and only peace candidate to vote for. Obama has expanded the Bush Doctrine in the middle east, has increased drone bombings in Pakistan and Somalia and increased military aid to dictators, who are using our weapons against their own citizen demonstrators.

I agree with you Tom, vote for Obama because of abortion issue? but keep bombing in the middle east - makes no sense!

  • @hladinisakti1 then you are NOT a liberal democrat-- that wRong Paul is right on MJ and war means nothing if his agenda is perfectly aligned with that of the Birchers and the US Chamber of Commerce.

  • Tom, fantastic video. do you have a video where you make the same points but specifically targeted to "conservatives" who think they're real conservatives but don't realize how they're misled? appreciate all you do, keep up the good work!

  • Nothing is ever going to change for the positive in America. The best bet is to get away as far as possible from communities, grow one's own food, and live entirely off the grid. I find anymore any sort of involvement in politics to be a ridiculous waste of time. It's time to check out and away from others.

  • @politicalbeast1959 and yet you bother to respond here?

  • @androydnyc

I've perused the responses but cannot locate the one that I posted. Help me out: what did I say and how long ago did I post it?

I like Tom Woods and the Ludwig von Mises Institute train of thought. But is the F.A. Hyak economic model the direction we need to go? Or, is some sort of populist social credit system the better approach? All possibilities should be placed on the table. Bottom line: what we have now (keynesian Zionist NWO communism) certainly isn't working out.

  • Both political parties whore themselves out to big business, political "action" groups and foreign lobbying. Ron Paul is the only one that will pull this country back from all that bullshit. Sadly, most people don't know about him because he's not a media darling like other political candidates. Our founding fathers would be in total shock if they saw what's become of our country.

  • Great video, you rock Mr. Tom Woods!

    Ron Paul for President 2012!

  • Tom, If you really want to reach us, talk about Ron Paul's transition plan...I know you couldn't be very happy about his willingness to let 50% of the savings from rolling back the military industrial catastrophe go to something other than tax cuts and/or debt reduction. There is a deal to be done here that could bring progressives flooding into the GOP primary. There are some progressives for Ron Paul out here. Google it if you're interested in winning.

  • @CorneliusBrantleyJr I think you misunderstand what he's saying. He's stating that he can't just suddenly "hit the brakes" on things like SS, Medicare, etc, he would use the money from military spending to tide people over during the transition, and people my age could opt out of these programs since they won't be there when I retire anyhow, I agree on working to end entitilements and soon, but I dont' think you instantly go cold turkey.

  • @motter28218 You are correct. Paul wants to give young people an opt out. This is precisely where he and progressives need to talk. Make a deal to give him a vote in congress on this idea. It will most likely be defeated as it should be. Afterwards, if Paul would agree to allow the funding he was going to put in entitlements to go to the states to do as they wish, progressives would sign on and nobody's principles would have to be violated. Make this pact and he is our next president.

  • @CorneliusBrantleyJr Can't argue with you on that, if I had his ear I would strongly suggest he sit down with you, unfortunately I'm just a supporter of his.

  • Win Nobel Peace Prize

    Bomb three countries

  • @Anon371

Obama is bombing more than three, sadly :(

  • @Anon371 ?

    Profit.

  • Yep, write him in.....

  • Learn the facts. Studt the Trivium

  • Paul might make it less convenient to get an abortion.Don't you know the right to convenient abortions is more important to anything else?It is according to radical feminists who would not touch men with a 40' pole, and with whom no man in his right mind would willingly be in the same city. But you see, even though the chances of such hags being impregnated is<the chance of winning a lottery, being eaten by sharks& truck by lightning all@1ce, they think that rapists are waiting 4 them everywhere.

  • 1:04

are you seriously blaming the Patriot Act and the Surveillance State on Obama? LOL!

I don't like what Obama's doing, he's weak willed, and he caves into the right so often that i hate every policy that he supports, but you know what? Maintaining the status quo is better than going all the way backwards and privatizing everything. Continuing a war is irresponsible and disgusting, but it's not half as bad as starting one!

  • @LeBaronDePropane Nevermind that he went into Libya of course. That can be discounted with some good old fashioned selective memory/rationalization. What happened with GITMO? He talked a big game on that and it's just been kinda brushed to the side now. I wonder if he meant any of what he was saying. Read up on what he's done regarding the situation on holding prisoners indefinitely and see what his actions say on the issue.

  • @rhettrongun Wait a second... did you say Obama started world involvement in Libya? HAHAHAHaHA! You clearly don't know have the story if you don't know that France was the first to go into Libya. As i said though, i do not support US or World involvement in Libya, don't act like i'm "rationalizing" or "forgetting" anything.

  • @LeBaronDePropane It was the US that requested NATO to intervene. It doesn't matter whose jets were the first go go in....by the way typing a bunch of H's and A's doesn't mean that you are right.

    And its half, not have.

  • @delanogaston

Hey, i never said i liked Obama, but how could you be as ignorant as to say that he would've made his decisions totally uninfluenced by Republicans?

I know that saying "ha" doesn't make me right, but typically, it demoralizes my opponent. I've learned it from countless Republicans. Best that i use that card before you do.

  • @LeBaronDePropane Read my comment again, I didn't say that.

  • @LeBaronDePropane Obama strengthened the Patriot Act, upgraded it, and extended it.

  • @LeBaronDePropane I guess the conflict in Libya isn't a war... What's the new Orwellian doublespeak term the mainstream media uses these days? Kinetic Military Action? Give me a fucking break

  • @99Steve Seriously, sometimes i just can't tell the difference between animals and Republicans. Associating INGSOC, an authoritarian ultra conservative party using a cover of socialism (contradictory) with liberals? I think, therefore i am. You do not think, so i don't know what to say.

    >Kinetic military action

never heard this phrase before, maybe it's because you're making it up

The mainstream media also includes Fox my friend. Non-mainstream media would be radio or internet news.

  • @LeBaronDePropane You've made a very poor assumption thinking that I'm a Republican. Personally, I find these labels distasteful, but if anything I would consider myself a libertarian. And no, my friend, I'm not making the term up. This phrase was used all over the mainstream media during the build up of this new front. You might want to actually look it up before dismissing it off hand. And again, you assume I'm a viewer of Fox.

  • @99Steve What kind of libertarian associates himself with right-wing politics? Don't libertarians support individual liberties, such as homosexual marriage and abortion? If you were truly libertarian, you wouldn't agree with "Free-Market Capitalism" because it isn't really a 'free market', it's rigged from the start, and prevents anyone who isn't initially rich from becoming as such.

  • @LeBaronDePropane You're referring to what is known as corporatism, not capitalism. There's a huge difference. Corporatism is the merger of state and corporate power. Capitalism on the other hand, protects individual private property rights while allowing for voluntary exchange. In a capitalist system the people would be allowed to choose their own currency. Corporations and banks that went bankrupt would be allowed to fail instead of being given bailouts. Corporatism is "rigged", not capitalism

  • @99Steve Free Market capitalism results in a concentration of wealth in the Corporations, considering that they can make products requiring less money, and selling them for less. They also use cheap oversea labor.

Free Market Capitalism is rigged, because the end result is 1% of the population owning 98% of the wealth.

  • @LeBaronDePropane That is not true, and we have never experienced this in any nation where true capitalism is practiced. The histories of the other systems of governance on the other hand are fraught with familiars. Communism failed the Soviets (among other nations), and socialism as ruined more than I can count. Socialism has created more poverty, then capitalism can in a thousand years.

  • @LeBaronDePropane Your first claim is a non sequitur. There are many reasons that can cause concentration of wealth. It does not follow that Free Market capitalism is the cause.

There is also a self-contradiction. Corporations are an intervention by the state and therefor not free market capitalism.

Your second claim is another non sequitur.

It is also noteworthy that no country has such a distribution.

    mint. com/blog/trends/mint-map-global-wealth-distribution

    (US top 1% control 42%)

  • @LeBaronDePropane Free market capitalism results in the single mom in the ghetto starting a hair braiding business in her living room without the government saying that you have to buy expensive permits or a storefront (thus allowing her to make enough money to get out of the ghetto!). Free market capitalism results in the guy who gets laid off from his job to start his own business without being squashed by regulations lobbied for by corporations.

  • @jeriaemt Free market capitalism may make it easier for small business owners to get ahead, but it makes it even easier for Corporations to as well!

  • @LeBaronDePropane

No, the legislature makes it easier for corporations.

  • 1.: Ron Paul will never be elected, because the majority of sheeple do not even know about him.

2.: Media fade him out and present him as a radical lunatic.

3.: People talking too much about the constitution and the Bill of rights are allready seen by the gov. as Terrorists (because they fight the establishment).

4.:Lincoln and JFK and others have been killed for their initiated changes, why should Ron Paul survive this?

I wish RP all the best but i'm afraid it's too litlle too late.

  • 5:20 hits the nail on the head. I always wonder this myself. So many people seem to support based on moral wedge issues. I think in a lot of cases it is merely an excuse to vote based on prior political affiliation. People generally don't like switching political views very often, so if they can find a reason (even a seemingly dumb one) to continue their established affiliation they will tend to grasp for it.

  • As it turns out, Democrats are just as supportive of "murdering foreigners" as Republicans. As long as they still get their favorite government kickbacks, Obama can bomb whoever he wants.

    Sad...

  • "Polygraph" ... watch?v=puVfsNBW5ms

  • Ron Paul has spent much of his earlier life as a doctor bringing life into the world by delivering many babies,he is someone that values life and will think long and hard before ordering someones death. The only way for America to recover is to get back to the constitution,a gold standard and good moral values. You only need to look at Rons voting record to see the fruit he produces compared to the poison the others want to dish up!!!

  • "You open up the back of Mitt Romney's head, your going to see wiring in there" That's great!

  • I'm Canadian, but, there must be some way I can vote for Ron Paul. Wake up America, before it's too late.

  • Ron Paul is MY president, i'll vote for him if i have to write him in. Ron Paul 2012

  • Just another himey mongrel out 2 destroy the USA = yawn. As if there is N E other type of yid blend? Their blood is poison & wrex everything it touches, just like Africans. Keep in mind this clown doesn't actually believe N E thing he's saying. He's just spouting code 4 "KILL WHITEY!"

  • O-bomb-ya, Rick Perry, Mitt Romey can all go suck it. Ron Paul 2012.

  • Great job Tom!

    Well said, Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Anyone intelligent enough to understand this video know Obama is a hypocrite. Of course, so are all the Democrats. I am so glad I voted for Ralph Nader in this last election. I used to be a Democrat, when I thought it was the only sane choice as the Republicans were obviously a force of absolute destruction. Next time around I will do everything to get Ron Paul elected, just to be thorn in the side of the corrupt forces that control this country.

  • You need to read an article in opednews written by Dr Stuart Jeanne Bramhall. I suggested that all progressives register to vote Republican and vote for Ron Paul to keep nazi theocrat war mongers from being elected. I'm a socialist.

  • Great commentary. Liberals anti- ron paul hysteria is only matched by their 2008 pro obama hysteria. They're wrong on both accounts. Paul is a lot more progressive than Obama on many issues

  • @MrWakethesheeple

Where did that come from? If you want to end the Fed and institute a free monetary system, why on earth do you think an archaic piece of legislation like Glass Steagall is necessary? With free banking, banks have to compete on portfolio risk, and therefore self-regulate.

You keep saying that Paul isn't serious, but this is based on the (flawed) assumption that people are still buying the establishment's bullshit. The reason WHY Paul is serious is because people ARE waking up.

  • The government is so corrupt, I'm not sure if they could or would ever accept a new President who see's the truth and the right way- they wouldn't know what he would be talking about. LOL. A sheep among the wolves so to say. Ron Paul is my only choice and the only hope for any future for this country in my opinion. I wish everyone could see and consider this.

  • Obama gets peace prize even though he is a war monger. Shows how currupt everything is.

  • @OpalSerpent When 'Lies Are Truth' - 'War Is Peace'...

  • @OpalSerpent

I'm not trying to glorify Obama here but

    >continue a war because ending it will be met with HUGE opposition

    >start a war in Libya, feeling that Republicans will either support it, or be hypocrites, in the name of lowering gas and oil costs.

    >yes, he's as much of a war monger as Genghis Khan!

  • Ron Paul is SO much braver than the rest of the people running. They are afraid to tell anything unless they know it's popular first. In conjuction with his braveness Ron Paul has been well educated on what works and he WORKS to make things right for the citizenry of this nation. As a result of the success of this nation other nations stand to benefit. The US is more generous collectively than any other nation or group of nations in the world. When we thrive we share generously as individuals

  • I've always known, from the 60's until now, the vast majority of so-called progressives were and are nothing more than a bunch of good time Charley plastic banana rock and rollers.

  • Yeah lets listen to a rich guy tell us what we want.

  • @infyrno917 Doesn't change the truth value.

  • For the past 8 years the US, no matter the administration has had a policy of "War without end, Amen". The MIC has with it's partner Wall St. totally usurped the power of the Federal Gummint. Hence, the entity FedGov.Inc. Guess who's in charge and it ain't us.. Therefore, a Ron Paul Peace Vote, may not be a bad idea.

  • For the past 8 years the US, no matter the administration has had a policy of "War without end, Amen". The MIC has with it's partner Wall St. totally usurped the power of the Federal Gummint. Hence, the entity FedGov.Inc. Guess who's in charge.

  • Bravo!!!

  • Ron Paul cannot win without media/Pentagon support. He will never get it.

You dreamers do not understand, america is a military dictatorship.

Ron Paul is a straw dog.

You have a choice: Obama or Satan.

    Choose you this day.

  • Without the world being shown the hidden dark forces that actually control what our Leaders are allowed to do, we will always have a newly elected President by the end of their 1st terms, always appearing to be inadequate. Both the Illuminati and their negative off world controlling elders, will never allow any world leader to actually have any real power unless it directly serves their agenda. Hence the increase in wars. That said, I still believe Ron Paul to be our best choice at this time.

  • @Ronaloka This whole business of "Illuminati" is just crud. Nobody knows who or what the "Illuminati" is, and so the term is used to describe this arcane secret society (how convenient that it is SECRET!!) that allegedly controls all the world's events from start to finish. I suppose this "Illuminati" crucified Christ, assasinated Julius Caesar, started the Catholic Church, unleashed the Black Death, sent Columbus to kill the Arawak, and a million other events, right?

  • @TheNebgreen

Illuminati is just one name. Bilderberg Group, Masons, Knights Templar etc. The name changes but their will always be people behind the scenes pulling the strings. Rothschild family owns approximately half the entire worlds $ using central banks through out "democratic" nations which keeps us in servitude by way of usury.

Check out the documentary "money changers"

Educate your self before smearing something you have no knowledge on.

  • God Bless You Dr. Woods. You are a very good man admired by many.

  • If Ron Paul wants to win, he needs to run as an independent, now, and run with, say, Dennis Kucinich as his running mate.

  • @radweed2009 I would support this. In fact, I advocated this in 2007. One commenter pointed out that the two do not get along that well. Kennedy and LBJ couldn't stand one another either. That's okay though. Kucinich would never have anyone bumped off. The right, middle, and some of the left are on board for Paul. Kucinich

would please many libs. An idea whose time has come!

  • I voted for Dr. Paul in 08, I'll vote for him again this time. But I don't want him to become POTUS. It's a non-issue anyway, since Romney has already been handpicked. I just hope Romney will choose to have Ron Paul in his cabinet in charge of finance and as advisor against nation building and the ongoing wars.

    VP might work.

  • If Paul gets in, he better make you the White House press secretary. Not to say you wouldn't be better in other areas, but I think you're good at dealing with questions in a logical, rational, calm manner.

  • Great message...... the progressives sold out to Obama and power. Where the hell is the anti war movement while we are massacring Libyans in the desert - and for what? To steal their oil and wealth and call it democracy? Where the hell is Code Pink now?

  • Liberal Progressives are the new Neo Nazi's. They love war because it spreads their twisted liberal ideas to other countries during the nation building process.

  • @haugvideo Yeah, much like the right wing Christian missionaries, eh? Whatever...you are clueless.

  • @clintdawley : You're clueless about the point being made, and why bring up Christian missionaries? My point was that progressive liberals need to stop pushing their retarded Nazi agenda off on the rest of the world.

  • @haugvideo Why not? The Conservative Tea Baggers have no problems doing it. Fascist.

  • @clintdawley I hear that they're planning on colonizing mars soon, why don't all you progressive liberals go there and create your own utopia and leave the rest of us normal people on earth alone.

  • @clintdawley : Progressive Liberals are nothing more than death dealers for political and ideological change.

  • Here we go once again, Collectivist Progressives protecting Big Brother Totalitarian massive bloated government and the ruling elite Wall Street Banksters who stole trillions and are destroying our nation.

Progressives make even better rabid neo-cons than the GOP neo-cons. Because, Collectivist Progressives are neo-Fabians at their core which, is everything that supports stealing from producers and giving to non-producers, destroying individualism, and turning 'rights' into 'privileges'.

  • vote republicrat you dupes...

  • @MrWakethesheeple

Why are you taking fiat currency and the Fed for granted? That's THE root problem! Paul wants to END both. Banks CANNOT create *money* from nothing. They can create *fiat currency* (i.e., paper currency) which "is" money ONLY because unconstitutional legal tender laws force it down our throats. Under a free banking system, banks which foolishly inflated their bank notes (by printing more notes than they had specie to back up) would lose public trust and go out of business.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

You are wildly overestimating the *actual* power of mega corps, which is negligible. They've only exerted undue influence because Americans have, for the last century, either been indifferent to or in support of increased regulations (i.e., protections). But the reason why Paul will be elected is BECAUSE the people are finally waking up to the failures of socialism/Keynesianism. There will not be any 2/3s majority. Paul has the truth, which is all the power he needs to win.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

Paul believes Congress should have only the powers that the Constitution gives them. Since the Supreme Court does nothing but rubber stamp Congress's tyranny, and the States are as of yet too pusillanimous to exert their duty to nullify unconstitutional laws, the only option is for Paul to refuse to enforce them.

Who are these libertarians? Glass Steagall is a pure red herring. The reason he wouldn't have repealed it is because you also have to repeal the FDIC, too.

  • War is better than peace?? What horse shite, People should see right thru this, unless they enjoy sending thier sons and daughters off to die for a big Corp. Ron Paul is the only choice to stop this out of control Government and spending.........RON PAUL 2012

  • In this age one only needs a camera, an Internet connection, and an opinion to spew their view.

  • Respond to this video...

There is only one anti war candidate running between the major parties in 2012, and thats Paul.

Unless your supporting a third party ,some one like Ralph Nader or Cynthia McKinney. Both Progressives and both agreed along with Paul and Baldwin to fighting for 4 main principles. This was done after the elections in 2008

Google this > Paul, Baldwin, McKinney, Nader: We Agree

If these 2 progressives can come together with Paul why can't you?

  • @MrSuperpunch019

Everything you just said is wrong, in fact 15 minutes worth of work investigating Paul would have shown you that. Instead, you grabbed what you heard someone else say and ran with it.

Its sad , we really want to reach out to left and build some kind of coalition against the status quo, but it seems just as impossible as trying to reach out to Neo-Cons.

Lies and misinformation combined with the partisan political disorder is a tough nut to crack.

  • Well said!

  • Tom Woods, if you knew that the Israhellish Diebold voting machines would elect the next "war on terror" leader, would you still make those soothingly confident speeches that you are into right now?

    Fair question?

  • Loved it Tom! Thanks :)

    PS

The discussions and comments affirm that more people are waking up to truth and reality. Makes me smile :)

  • The title of this video says it all.

    Fuck the pseudo anti-war left.

  • Ron Paul is the JFK of our generation.

  • Ron Paul is the ONLY politician in D.C. that makes any sense. The rest of them are just a bunch of paid off puppets and everyone is starting to understand that.

  • Democrats AND Republicans BOTH ATTACK RON PAUL. This alone tells me there is a REASON they are attacking him. I believe we have a ONE PARTY system with two ugly heads that have plagued our government for over 100 years. Ron used to run as a LIbertarian. Because of the ugly two headed system, he is forced to "pick a side" and is running as a Republican to have a chance of getting elected. But rest assured, he will be the ONLY President in my lifetime who actually honors his Constitutional oath.

  • i'd say the most important thing we can all do when it comes to polotics is to inform ourselves of what each canidates voting record is, that way you wont get thrown off by someone like rick perry or obama.

  • Really, it's one of the greatest con jobs in history that the mega corps have tricked leftists into believing that the only way to stop them is through more regulation. It's exactly, precisely, 100% the opposite. The only thing that can keep mega corps honest is free market competition. Example: Standard Oil supplied 34% of America's oil in its heyday, but competition from new companies like Exxon/Shell/etc. reduced this to nearly 10% in just over a decade, BEFORE the anti-trust bullshit.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

In order to pass a bailout, Congress would need a 2/3s majority to override Paul's veto. And even if they managed that (laughable, given the Tea Party influence in the House), I guarantee you that Paul would nullify it with an executive order. Principles of '98.

And I don't think you understand that Ponzi schemes and other unscrupulous business practices can't be sustained UNLESS corporations can hide behind endless, incomprehensible regulations.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

The rich already buy the politicians. Didn't you know this? And it's hard to imagine how you could be more wrong. Banksters and mega corps hate Ron Paul with a passion, because he will take away their free money, free bailouts, and force them to compete in a free market. Currently, mega corps in most industries have no real competition, thanks to the endless web of regulations that make it impossible for newer/smaller firms to compete. Who is feeding you this nonsense?

  • @MrWakethesheeple

For example, why did the mortgage backed securities fail? Because they were backed by bad mortgages. Who let them get away with using bad mortgages? The Fed's free money/free bailout policy, and the government mandated rating agencies. And why were there bad mortgages in the first place? Because of the Fed's low interest rate policy, and because Freddie/Fannie were guaranteed to cover the losses. In a free market, there would never have been bad mortgages in the first place.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

You have it exactly backwards. The Fed *empowers* Wall Street by providing perpetually low interest rates, free money, and bailouts. If we had a gold standard (or better, a free monetary system), Wall Street would have to play on the same field as the rest of us. The separation of investment/commercial banking, derivatives, and mortgage backed securities are all irrelevant details that a free market would resolve without any fuss. Contrary to quackonomics, there's no magic.

  • @MrWakethesheeple

The same econoquacks who rated derivates AAA up till the day before the crash? The same econonuts who think that more Fed-induced stimulus will solve the problems created by Fed-induced stimulus? The same crankonomists who believe destroying property helps the economy?

Paul, because he understands *real* economics, has been right every time. The establishment "economists" have been proven wrong time and again, on everything. Paul deserves your confidence and trust. Not them.

  • @MrWakethesheeple The other candidates don't even know what Glass Steagal is, so you don't have a lot of options.

  • You make a strong case for voting Ron Paul. I have my disagreements with him, but my reluctance about voting for him came more from the idea that he would be completely ineffective as President because Congress would block him on everything from both sides; I figured he would be more effective as a legislator, and I'm disappointed that he's retiring from Congress. Still, you make a good case that his having the bully pulpit of the Presidency for 4 years could have a powerful effect.

  • @MrWakethesheeple For over 20 years Ron Paul has never changed his outlook and his belief. I am sure that when he is president he wont let lobbyists do anything. Look at the recent Hurricane problem on the news, Ron Paul says HEY FEMA SUCKS I WILL GET RID OF FEMA, no politician has the Balls that Ron Paul has. If he is president I am sure the people will respect him and follow him and get rid of these Lobbyist and Politicians who follow the money not the american people
