  • At first I thoughed there was water coming out of the tube

  • They list for $3,490.00 made by City Theatrical in NYC. 201-549-1150. They work the best for low lying fog. You can find them in most rental shops big and small. KISS use these on tour.

  • how much is it????

  • looks like clouds in the movies

  • how do you make one

  • @cakekillus take a normal fog machine. attach a long tube to it. put ice in the tube and stat fogging, :) (dry ice works even better)

  • cool dude

  • dude you be pukin out clouds =]

  • Man I could watch that all day.

  • I have a regular ground fogger. Can I put dry ice in there or is it just for regular ice?

  • @Mightymopar1973 dry ice works better but ice is just a good

  • really looked like water from a hose at beginging

  • Wayyyy better than the red carpet =)

  • City Theatrical-makes this unit and is by far the most reliable unit for low lying fog. It's the most easiest unit to use on production. They also have a much larger unit called the SS6000. Aquafogers & SS6000 are used on Wicked and Phantom of the Opera and Nutcrackers. Also good for heavenly fog for religious productions and spooky fog for Halloween. CTI#201-549-1160

  • Also, is this running at full blast? like does it have a full chamber of dry ice and the fan is on high and the water is very hot etc.

Also, small bits of dry ice work MUCH better than big blocks (larger surface area, but less time of fog)

  • Personally, I don't know why theatrical productions still use (expensive) dry ice when there are things like the antari DNG 200 and the Jem glaciatior. I have seen this in use, and at phantom they use 4 of them. In the long run though, it is more cost effective to use a refridgeration unit like the ones I mentioned earlier.

  • lol, It looks like water

    Nice building :)

  • I want to swim in it...

  • no the company is City Theatrical, in regards to if they are professional... Have you ever seen phantom of the Opera on broadway? yea its the same one you see here, once it gets kicking its like cheech and chong down there!!

  • This was used in Phantom of the Opera? I loved that show! I wondered what they used. I heard from another person that they used like, seven CO2 fog generators. These things are expensive but they'd be so much to own! The up-side is that they make hardly any noise except for the bubbling of the dry ice. Can't you like, adjust the level of the fog with the basket thinger-majigger?

  • It is to my understanding that these were used on the national tour for phantom, and yes you can adjust it based upon the height of the basket, ill have it for a nutcracker in a few weeks, can't wait to "drown" the front row :P

  • Wicked the musical uses the aquafogger too.

  • That's cool. Where on earth do you find this kind of information out!? :D

  • When you're a musical fanatic, you usually know almost everything about the musical. =D

  • Thats pretty impressive. Is Aquafog the company who manufacture it? And is it professional?
