I thought the acting between America and Ana in the sister fight scene was EXCEPTIONALLY realistic and well done. You actually think you are watching Betty & Hilda Suarez and NOT two TV actresses. I LOVED this episode, VERY real!

I remember when I first watched this episode being shocked that Betty gave up her apartment, but in retrospect I shouldn't have been. Betty spent more time with her family in Queens and at Mode than she did at that apartment. Amanda and Hilda spent more time in it than Betty did. She was just wasting her money. The girl was not ready to live on her own at this point.

Betty and Hilda were both unfair in this episode. Betty is overcontrolling and bossy towards Hilda, and Hilda is being super immature about it. However, I'm on Betty's side--she shouldn't have to move out of her apartment and work less to make her family happy. She's an adult now and has her own life. Hilda works at home because she can't get another job or afford her own place. How is that Betty's fault?

I haven't one clue why, but I love that fact that, while they're arguing, Hilda & Betty's hair color is spot on the same. It's fantastic. Wilhemina is...harsh, but she has her moments. Usually a hidden agenda to go along with those moments, but I'll take what I can get. Sad Betty is a little tiresome, though. I want boy-insane Betty back, for a little bit anyway. These characters, even when they're being bad, they're so Good. Is Conor really over, uh, Molly? I don't think so.
