As far as reliability i have to do waaay more maintanance to my Eclipse than my Mugen, maybe because its not stock. lol. But right now my Eclipse will smoke the shit out of my Mugen. Right now im running around 320 whp with the DSM.

  • @belizetj lol ok. an si even a newer k20 will not smoke a AWD TALON tsi. thats si will have a new asshole torn off the line as well. talon 4g63 stock,turbo and is a 20 year old cheaper car. yea i know who you are bragging about your mugen to other mugen owners. you fail sir at knowledge of dsm's when you claim to own one.

  • @Vtrjfrost Hell yeah. An AWD Talon TSi/Eclipse GS-X will smoke an Si off the line. And possibly even in the 1/4. But anything past a 1/4 mile the Si has it without a doubt. An Si will smoke the shit out of a fwd DSM. A stock 4G63 has a lot of low-end, but no top-end. And if u think any different ur dont know shit about any of these cars. Fuck yeah im bragging about my Mugen, its a badass car. I di own a 1998 Eclipse GS-T, its sitting outside right now. I have vids of it too.

  • @SpecVBlue Nope. What makes u say that? Intake and exhaust on both. Spec V has Nismo intake and Magnaflow exhaust with resonator delete, and Mugen Si had K&N short ram and Skunk2 70mm exhaust.

  • i have nothing against Nissan, i love em used to have an Altima myself!! But a Spec-V cant beat a Si--it has MAD torque but of the line is where it shines, but it doesnt rev as high as the K20 engine..in many races they have the first 2 gears or so but by the 3rd the ivtec wakes up!! good race not hating at all but k20 wins a long term race--race on fellas

  • @belizetj No prob..i actually raced a SER yesterday and he actually got me of the line but by mid 2nd i pulled away!! it was unfair tho cuz i had full bolt on and him stock!!! They have good TQ but it just runs outta steam about 60 or so and the Si takes over from there...In the Nissans defense tho if someone is a bad driver the Spec V can humiliate you lol

  • @felacsvt Wow u have a full bolt on and a SER got u off the line? That sucks man. Because we both (Si and Spec V) in this vid only intake and exahust. And both of us are good drivers. Actually the guy in the Spec V is older than me and can drive better than i can.

  • @belizetj it funny i know but to clarify i was at the light and he pulled up, now i dont like to instigate anything, but i guess since i have lipkit on my Si i guess its a sign that i wanna race--it rained a lil yesterday and it the streets were still drying up--so dude take off at the light and im like w/e (WHOEVER HAS A HEADER WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED DAMPERS FOR THE XTRA TQ)--so he got me off the line WOW, but by mid 2nd i passed him and we both when our separate ways

  • @felacsvt Yes. Its not for the extra tq, its to prevent your race header from hitting your subframe when u launch or shift hard (downshift or upshift). It also helps eliminate wheel-hop from engine movement (helps hold you motor in place). I find that Boomba solid torque mounts or Innovative solid mounts work better than the Ingalls torque damper in reducing engine movement & wheel-hop. But the Boomba / Innovative mounts send more vibrations though your car.

  • @felacsvt Get solid mounts, Boombas are a direct bolt-in, and come in red, black, or silver. $230 shipped from wscp, and they come with installation instructions.

    Innovative mounts - i heard people say u have to do some mods to either the monts themselves or the holes to get them to fit.

  • @felacsvt lol imagine if the spec v had bolt ons itself!! they will give you a run for your money to about 90 mph to 100 mph. but who cares most races goes from street light to street light which means if both had the same mods spec v should win. as for the stock torque that took ur fully bolted si from the line hahaha

  • @username2153 Yes. But if either one of us beeped it would have been an expected launch and someone would leave before the other. So we just had the cameraman say, "Go", so it can be unexpected and as fair as possible.

  • The guy in the nissan needs to trade his 05 for a 07- present then you will be able to beat the si when you r stock. 2007 nissan sentra se-r spec v: 200 hp 187 lb torque. si: 197 hp 130 something of torque

  • @Caropanthers90 Im in the Mugen Si. Yeah, if i had a regular stock Si he'd smoke my ass. The Spec V is not stock and is faster than a 07+ Spec V.

    Btw a stock 05-06 Spec V has 175hp and 180tq. The stock 07+ Spec V has 200hp 180tq. Stock vs Stock the 05 Spec V (like the one in the vd) and 07+ Spec V run about the same, beause the 07+ Spec V weighs about 400 lbs more and only has 25 more hp than the 05 Spec V.

    Stock Si has 197hp 139tq.

The 05 Spec V in this vid is faster than a stock 07+ Spec V. He runs high 14s in the 1/4 mile. Im going to take vids & get time silps next time we go to the track. I didnt say a Stock Civic Si is faster than a Stock 07+ Spec V. 1/4 mile time stock Civic Si - 15.5 (VSA ON at launch limiter), Stock 07 + Spec V - 15.1

  • now the 2007-2009 qrs that are in the altima makes 155whp with cvt but with manual 162whp. But 2002-2006 qrs make like 145whp to 150whp.

  • Not bad for a stock qr, since it only puts down about 150whp. Lose the passenger, get a header, shift before redline the first 2 gears (5800rpm); and I guarantee this will even the odds up quite a bit

  • the si isn't stock,even with vtec you're pulling on him really hard in 3rd,I have a spec v and my 3rd is pretty quick.

  • @rjmprofile Thanks man. I love it just after vtec has kicked in and the intake is screaming. No camera can replicate the sound. You have to hear it in person. Sounds so nice. Let someone hit vtec in your Si and stand infront far enough away for them to hit vtec in 1st and 2nd . Sounds like cum in pants.
