I think this is really the first legit system that can be used controller free, and think thta is a pretty cool thing It seems like their at least making an effort in the quality of game play and game themes, better than the Wii in my opinion. Unfortunately, games are part of what the device is being used for. If there are no good games to play, I don't really want to use it. So now what they need is a impact pack. Where you can feel where you got hit

(amplitude turned down). For example when I dunk, I want some kind of feedback on my hand. I want a basketball that I can really dribble and do everything but shoot. I want to use a soccer ball and really feel it physically not just virtually. Kinect can do all that, and I expect to see this in the future.

I dunno, seems pretty shit to me. I think the novelty of having things like this has long since worn off from when the Wii came out.

I mean who wants to play a game with no feedback? You want a controller in your hand that rumbles and shakes with the game. And standing up and jumping around gets bloody old after half an hour - unless of course if you're drunk, which even still it gets old pretty quickly.

I think this Kinect is just an expensive DVD player, really.

I think the concept of no controller is still premature. I don't think Kinect is able to support graphic and performance intensive games, and i'd rather use a controller to play a great game as oppose to an inferior game controller-free. But i do believe contoller-free and 3D is the future of gaming.

if you go on the other videos and do your guys research the kinect is not very responsive and has its limits and why would i want a game that degrades the way i look while i play? @castheman1050 wrong in order to acsess the ps3 hard drive you remove 2 screws on the side of the ps3 and just pull the hard drive right out and the ps3 uses the same hard drives as a laptop so if you have a broken laptop you can use the hard drive in your ps3

My first comment up there about the PS3 being screwed when Kinect comes out was a bit exaggerated. I was only posting it in response to some real ridiculous fanboy comments. But I do believe Kinect will be a huge success, especially with its record breaking marketing campaign, and Sony is definitely going to have a struggle on their hands to compete.

This isn't revolutionary in the slightest because

1. You can't sit down while playing it

2. Many of the titles are repetitive of each other (multiple dance, party, and exercise games)

3. You can't navigate characters

4. It only attempts to cater to one gaming demographic

Assuming this video is a hub of XBox fans I won't be surprised if this gets thumbed down. I just want to warn everyone of Kinect's limitations, and unless it fixes those problems it's honestly not worth your time.
