At the beginning of the game, before you find the first tiger and after you use the rope to cross the river, there is another rope on the left. Does anybody know how to get there?

i was 18-19 when i first played this. i found every possible way to die in this jungle and it took a damn long time to get through. i think the monkeys even killed me once. that first slide down the hill killed me more times than i'm going to admit. i even tried turning up the brightness on the TV to save flares. it didnt work , but it was worth a shot. darkness will kill ya 9 times outta ten in this game!

@Stargeek2006 Not in this level. But if you shoot them, they sometimes drop a medipack. They attack you anyway in the next level.

The PS1 Tomb Raider were so much fun, such a challenge, I hated how Crystal Dynamics made TR so damn easy, it's almost liked the dumbed it down for people. Look at the difference between Legend & The Last Revelation. If AOD was finished, it could've been up there with TR1, TR2, TR3 & TLR as the hardest TR games.

OMG, so that's how it was supposed to be done... I played this game for like 3 months back when walkthroughs were unheard of. Death was practically around every corner and those save/health crystals were the very soul of your gameplay. Epic TR, easily the best and quite possibly the hardest.

did you guy know that you can finish this level in 5 minutes?

there's a bug at the 3rd secret place, where you can "walk in the air" directly to the end of the level.

there you just have to take the "indra key" and go out of there (the tiger appears after you kave taken the key^^)

It is quite difficult to get. You need to stand in the middle of that square where I jumped from, and I think if you press action whilst in mid-air, it'll help get you the shotgun.

I got a confession, when i was on the switch part, i ran and got chased by the boulder, but i didn't make it through the door so i just stood right in the corner and i didn't die! if you look in the description, the secrets are noted there, sometimes the monkeys take a small medipack, n sometimes they dont, but i like to kill them anyway, lol, i guess you play on playstation, you will have savegame crystals and can only save using them, i play on pc, and they are like a small medipack, and you can save as many times as you like
