I'm experiencing discomfort on the reverse fly recently(one shoulder sort of "pops"), even with light weights(I've gone up to 17.5kg dumbells with good form, same weight on laterals, and I press 34kg dumbells), any tips?
I already do rotator cuff exercises to prevent injury but I think I cant do reverse flies anymore.
When you bench press you work your front deltoid a lot! If you also do a incline press you hit it twice. So it is important to really work your side and rear deltoid as much as possible during a shoulder workout. Usually the rear and side deltoid is under developed on most guys I see
u odnt need to do 150 to 300 a day to get results, in fact doing less n slowly n the right safe way makes more muscle , so u can get results from even 20 a day if done right, ask any trainer, or any guy that builds up.
if u eat protien powder once a day u will go up in weight but if you train much you should eat much and train little less untill u get more body fat good luck:)
depending on how much you weigh, grab like a 15- 20 pound dumbbell hold it beside your waists and lift in 90 degress upward so your arm i stretched out to ur side, (also do this with your arm stretched out forward) and grab heavy wieghts and do trap shrugs. and grab decently heavy weights and lift them at the same time over your head ( search on google, shoulder, deltoid and trap exerscises), i used to be skinny as hell these helped a lot.
fuck your shoulders,, hit your lats,, if your thin, a big V shaped back will make you look bigger. It fast building too :P Train "lats rows", or lat pulley's like 2-3 times a week

@RaidenHalo your shoulders are the most important upper body workout because they open up all your other muscles, everything is connected to your shoulders. silly boy, thats why you are small.
@kobekid12345 Eat. Pretty simple really. Just eat. Any upper body workout will work your shoulders as long as you include presses. That means Bench press and of course shoulder press. Dont bother with forward raises though. A totally useless exercise. You wont grow though unless you eat.
doesn't really matter what you eat if your skinny try to eat a lil bit more for more energy and if you trying to lose weight well im vegetarian for that so its helping me a lot just work out daily and boost up your routine every week and a half just work out with patience

@wpn25t Oh i get this problem, what it is is that your either doing too much weight, your not stretching enough, i used tot hink it was bullshit that stretching did anything but one day i locked up so bad i gave it a shot, and i stopped feeling the pain. but you should also look into if your doing the workout correctly, or your injured and should check with a doctor.

But in truth, there are so many shoulder exercises and different ways to do them. That's why they're my favorite muscle to exercise because you can change your routine easily.
best way to big shoulders is side latterals 1st followed by upright rows then blast them with as many seated dumbell presses as you can do. feel the burn! just twice a week and watch em grow.
Yeah you got wide shoulders, but a skinny neck. Heavy upright presses are the best way to build wide shoulders. Unless you do heavy laterals like Ahhnold!
