If that's true, the people at your polling place are not doing their jobs.
In order to vote, one must be registered and a photo ID - like a driver's license or a social security card is required at time of registration.
Subsequent visits to the polling place require an ID - unless the registrars know you personally. We have lived at our current location for 10 years and they still ask to see our driver's licenses.
Most states do not require an id for voting. According to the ACLU:
"
According to voting rights experts, a majority of 30 states do not require registered voters to present any form of identification as a condition of voting, while 20 states require voters to present some form of ID. Of these 20, only two (Georgia and Indiana) require voters to present a photo ID as the sole method of identification in order to vote."

Someone sneaks into OUR country, unwelcome, unwanted,
stealing jobs($2 TRILLION+ of wages yearly),
and social services($336 BILLION YEARLY)
from the US born/legal immigrants of all races,
but it's not stealing? Undocumented?
You mean ILLEGAL, BREAKING THE LAW DAILY, right?
Illegal = Illegal, STEALING = STEALING.
I WELCOME those of ALL races who obey the law. Hopping a fence,
illegally, bringing disease, crime, and poverty, is NOT immigration of ANY sort.
It's INVASION by foreign nationals.

Sheppard Smith is an idiot. Drivers licenses have become defacto ID cards and Spitzer wanted it to promote voter fraud - among other things.
The more Shep talks, the more apparent it becomes. I have NEVER seen him cover any story competently.

You don't need an id card to vote, so you're wrong.

The registration issue could be solved simply by requiring a social security number on the registration application.
