This boss was lame as balls... They should have ended it with Lavos's 2nd form. They redid the DS version because they knew it was a joke, to bad the DS version's ending boss doesn't fit either

that took you forever.. it takes me like 4 attacks to kill the first part of lavos. and like 7 or so to kill the lavos core and lavos bits... [[my favorite game EVER]]

i always used delta attack..i liked how it goes...that and the old arc attack they could do..however, considering that lavos is a 3 part battle...or 4...he's tough.....god even to this day the rememberance of that shriek he makes gives me a lil bit of a chill.

i just got to this guy today. I died though. But thank god i saved -_-. I use Chrono, Lucca and Marle. Delta attack ^^

This is one of my favourite final battles, partly because they trick you with that last core, first time through i thought i had to take out the big guy, nope, Square went with the non-generic route, :). It's pretty intense fight, mainly because of the music but the background makes it look like the battle's so fierce that it rips across time. Very well done and a very good game. (Btw i used the exact same strategy as you did, :D)

lavos, then inside of lavos, then that thing...i beat the 1st 2 lavos's then died on the core because i killed the middle thinking that was the thing u had to kill not all of them lol.

wow this music is off the hook...mad memories. yea this has to be one of the best RPG's of all time. I don't understand why they don't make anymore with the similar interface and play style. They make so many final fantasy games but only two chrono games =/
