  • I know that Sum 41 didn't really blow up until after 2000 but I still feel like they belong in this documentary. I dunno, every time I think of Sum 41 I think of this music era, in my head anyway lol

  • WHY DID THIS VIDEO HAVE TO END? This film needs to come out! ASAP!

  • YEAH MY GIRLFRIEND :) blink me

  • i really hope we can get this released. KEEP DONATING GUYS!

  • Green day yeah FUCKING AWESOME AND ALL THE OTHERS BANDS FUCKING AWESOME MOOVIE!

  • Even though it all happened in the 90's no one really took any notice till 2000!

  • When are we going to be seeing this, Jai? Can you just put up a torrent and say your computer was hacked or your external hard drive was stolen?

  • dose anyone know who the band is at 5:50 , thanks

  • @parkerman23 NOFX

  • @rocketboy375 neh its some pop punk band, i well reconise it, its not nofx tho!

  • @parkerman23 no it is NOFX

  • @rocketboy375 sorry but its not, whats the song called?

  • @rocketboy375 oww sorry i ment the background song

  • @parkerman23 It's Soulmate by No Use for a Name

  • 70s had disco and black sabbath

80s had madonna and the big 4 of thrash metal

90s had grunge and pop punk

    00's have... rap?

    wtf?

  • @Urbshanator pop punk reached its peak in like 2006

  • @Urbshanator

Hip-hop is amazing, but I suppose you wouldn't know that unless you turned off the radio and looked through LPs from the 80s.

  • @Urbshanator 90s had the best rap dude. Nas, AZ, Pac and Biggie, the whole West Coast, East Coast thing.

  • Duuuuuuuddde you're website Isn't up anymore. Don't tell me you had to pull the plug.. I have a T-shirt! lol Save One Nine Nine Four! We demand It!! :]

  • Whats the bass riff at 0:30

  • @PunkRockCovers Stickin' In My Eye - Nofx.

  • What's more punkrock skateboarding or longboarding

  • What is that starts around 5:43 ?

  • Im sure you can find a torrent file of this somewhere guys. Just download it and if it ever comes out and you think its worth your money, then buy it. It seems kind of ironic that a documentary on modern punk isnt released because of money and legal issues. Seems kind of "anti punk".

  • Been waiting for years now, when's this coming out?

  • donde puede verse

  • 2011 is the new 1994. Every punk bands coming out with a new album. Sum 41,Offspring,Blink 182,Sublime with Rome

  • @sublime4evs unwritten law. pennywise apparently. NOFX is back in the studio. rise against. bad religion has a newer one out too.

  • @sublime4evs yeah but they're not really punk anymore. (not being a label kind of person, but it's not)

  • @sublime4evs LMAO, Sum 41 and Stink 182??? Get a clue bud, these are not punk bands, these are POP bands.

    graduating highschool in 3 months...

  • Strung Out is the best band ever!!!

  • 4 minutes into the video, no sign of Green Day's members yet but they're already talking about them. This is awesome.

  • what is the first song that plays?

    and the song at 1:52

  • @formusicplaylist1

Both are Bad Religion "How Much Is Enough" from Suffer.

  • Did I just hear a guy say that Dookie killed Grunge? The only reason that's what happened is because Kurt died just 2 months after the release of Dookie. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Kurt never died and how the '90s would have turned out. Also, Sublime would have been dominate in the late '90s if Brad didn't die.

  • @Muse4life05 who cares grunge punk its all awesome

  • Waiting for this...........

  • i've watched this thing about 700 times...how close are we to the money mark!?...i wanna see this whole thing SOOO fucking bad!

  • @LongviewGD182 end* rofl

  • This film looks absolutely fantastic. Having been born in the early '90s, I wasn't able to experience this great chapter of punk history firsthand...but damn if I can't still appreciate it. Phenomenal work.

These bands have had a huge influence on me musically...not to self-advertise, but check out my channel for a clip of some high school buddies and I playing an original song! Long live punk rock.

  • @Mxy29 stickin in my eye - nofx

  • rancid :D love them ^^

  • ya see kids? rock band have such interesting backrounds, but rappers just come from alleys

  • @allama98 That's a pretty racist and intolerant statement. I guarantee most of these bands would smash you in the face if you said a statement like that in front of them.

  • @allama98

That's a little wrong since we're talking about PUNK rock here.

  • PLEASE!!! what was the song at 2.07 to like 2.10

  • @jaipar984 thats so...whats the word I'm look for? Oh yeah! PUNK!!!

  • it'd be nice if this movie came out already. fat wreck, hellcat and epitaph together could fund it no problem. they might not see a lot of profit back but who cares? ugh. fuck money.

  • i hope this gets released. strange that a diy movie about diy punk is being held up because the labels want too much $ for the music rights.

  • this looks so damn good and its so retarded that none of these bands will donate money i mean really come on!! they must not care enough to want it released. green day, blink, or the offspring could easily afford to help this guy out and release this film

  • @SotoVideo I agree, the release of this movie should be top priority for them. There are loads of peopel waiting for this movie, instead of the new hannah montana movie

  • this documentary looks very very interesting. always wanted to learn about punk rock

  • i just read they only need 30 grand to get all the music released... seems like they could some how get that

  • they have 15 so far :P half way there

  • This has to happen!

  • tbf, the bands involved with this could donate some money for it to be released.

they probs reli want peeps to c it so they shud help out a bit.

  • The song at 5:43 is "Soulmate" by the band No Use For A Name.

  • whats the song that starts at 5:43 ???

  • the movie isnt gonna be released. the record company's want way too much money for the music to be in the movie. and the guy whos making this doesn't have enough money. so hes fund raising to make enough money but no luck yet.

  • is the movie out yet?

  • They're selling T-shirts, sweaters, etc. On their website to raise money to finally release the film.

  • Whats the song at 3:08?!?

  • i think it was a mistake for them having blink 182 on here

i like blink 182 but their more pop punk

  • Well, there's a reason why its called pop PUNK.

  • No way! listen to Dude Ranch(Pathetic) or Cheshire Cat(Wasting Time) or Budha(Carousel) those albums(/songs) are really Punk!

  • But the film is about punk in the nineties, punk was really popular in the nineties. and Enema of the state was a one of the biggest albums in the nineties.

  • 5:08 is ruby soho

  • whats the rancid song when that picture pop up at 5:08 please!
