I told a Polish guy whos a friend of mine that I know a few Polish words Moja droga ja Cie kocham Im pretty sure that means I love you so. Unless Bobby Vinton lied to me lol. I guess this song and its popularity was a pretty inspirational moment given all the anti Polish stereotypes that used to be so prevalent.
Other than Lawrence Welk I really don't remember my Mom and Aunt being that much into music. That's until Bobby Vinton swept every Polish woman off her feet with this in 1974. My Mom would listen to this over and over again. A Teeny Bopper at the age of 63. Here's to you Ma and Auntie!

20 years ago when I was 16, I walked up on stage at the Westbury Music Fair while this man sang this song and got the biggest kiss of my life. I will never forget it. I have had a crush on Bobby since his television show was on 33 years ago and I could barely pronounce his name. I used to ask if I could watch the Bobby Vint-nen show!
