@frenchie2alfalfa Grace slick is very quotable. I remember her once saying that anybody over 50 should get out of rock n roll because you don't want old people up on stage doing etc etc. Love it.
@frenchie2alfalfa What is she supposed to do when they drive a truck load of money up to her front porch? Yeah, I think she sold her soul just a bit for commercial success. I guess she will get over it. Probably has.
Even for an 80's song, this is pretty bad. I like most cheesy 80's music, but not this one so much. But hey, no disrespect to those who do like it for whatever reason.
@butterfinger345 still a republican... first republican president, also started the bloodiest american war... in britan they freed the slaves by paying the farmers what they were worth... lincoln wanted to take the slaves and give the farmers nothing which started a huge war... i support american democrats all the way back to andrew jackson... back then there were many conservative southern democrats, but i still support the party just like the liberal northern democrats supported the union
@landenrud both democrats and republicans in the north wanted to free slaves, while both republicans and democrats in the south wanted to keep slavery... want to know how britan freed their slaves? they paid for them and freed them, then made it illegal to own them... want to know what republican lincoln did? he made slaves illegal and tried to arrest all the farmers which caused a huge civil war... lincoln was an idiot, britan still makes fun of us for the civil war cause americans are dumb
@wildboy789789 Your the dumb one. The main reason for the civil war was not slavery although it was a cause but more of a power struggle between the south and north lincoln got elected without winning any states in the south. this made the south feel like their losing control of America to the northren politicians. Lincoln was not even going to end slavary but did when the south secceded.but still allowed slaves in the states that were not part of the confederacy.
@originalganster187 The south wouldn't even put his name on the ballots there, and he still won in 1860. That should have been a wake up call for the south. Their influence had deterriorated considerably by that time. Founding father Thomas Jefferson must have been afraid that a day like that would come. Seventy years earlier, he'd been instrumental in getting the nation's capital moved from New York city, to Washington, D.C. - a stone's throw from Jefferson's slave-holding Virginia.
@wildboy789789 You don't even know your american history or what your talking about or know why the civil war started and democrats back then were all pretty much for slavery after the war the south switched and became rebuplicans. if the soutth didnt try to secced they would have had many slavery for many more years.your statement about lincoln making it illegal and arresting farmers for causing the civil war is way off.
@wildboy789789 and if britan laughs at the united states we should be laughing way harder because who used to be the most powerful country in the world but then could'nt win any wars to hold in together britan. Who beat Britan for independence the united states and since that time america got stronger by winn ing wars and expanding the oppisite of britan
@wildboy789789 The South has ALWAYS been the most backward, ignorant, intolerant, and anti-progress part of the United States. My mom and dad were from Mississippi, and I still say:
@wildboy789789 I kinda like the south, at least along the east coast where its nice, and the people are, too, generally. I could do without the mountain dew drinking, trailer trash, though. That part of the south can go, along with texas.
