The main reason for the civil war was not slavery although it was a cause but more of a power struggle between the south and north lincoln got elected without winning any states in the south. this made the south feel like their losing control of America to the northren politicians. Lincoln was not even going to end slavary but did when the south secceded.but still allowed slaves in the states that were not part of the confederacy.

Their influence had deterriorated considerably by that time. Founding father Thomas Jefferson must have been afraid that a day like that would come. It was a great song i could remember in the mid 80s i took out my parents 1979 Dodge Aspen and drove it to nassau county and heard this song on the radio and it was in the middle of the nite and it was a fun car ride because i was only 15 or 16 years of age so it must 1985 or 1986 and my parents never found out i took there car for a ride and i drove very good for a teenager oh boy the things we do in our youth.
