I think that it was that one time when that 11 year old kid said that he was the father of his 15 or 16 year old girlfriend....it was like a "wow when we were your age parenthood wasnt even in our minds yet, all we wanted to do was have fun and be ourselves and form friendships that we thought will last forever " moment =//

I'm in 9th grade and when I was in 5th grade people were already dating, it's stupid. My friends and I, on the other hand, are the kids that still sneak YuGiOh cards into school and hide them in our lockers. I really feel sorry for the people that just want to 'grow up.' The only reason I would want to grow up is so I could have a credit card and buy old video games off of eBay.
I'm in grade 7 and our age is 12/13. There are some people in the the two classes who are DATING. It really gets on my nerves because they are too young to be dating at 12/13! I personally think that no one should date until they get to at least grade 9 or 10.

You can pretty much tell when the world is getting f**ked up when you see 10 year old kids on facebook, posting songs on how they are heart-broken and pictures of themselves posing in a bikini with the latest-fashioned sunglasses, wearing heels and going to clubs, getting piercings and dying their hair, getting their face done e.g eyebrows, and talk on the phone 24/7. Yep, I've seen all this stuff. When i was 10 the only thing i had was a jumping rope and Pokemon caps.
Kids now a days are something different. They mature faster, have sex at VERY young ages, own cellphones when their like 6, have facebooks at 7, take slutty picture, and the list goes on and on. And its probably not their fault, more like the society we live in nowadays that has so much crap on tv and media and the parents that don't control where their children go, what they watch and who they are with. They can do whatever they want and thats changing kids. SAD STORY. :/

when i see 10 yearolds holding their boy/girlfriends' hands in the hallways at my lil cousin's school. It slapped me in the face on how much time has changed. Im barely going to turn 16 and i remember when i was 10, boys still had cooties and yet i was constantly outside from dawn till dusk. I realize how much i had it good when i was a kid. Now in middle school, kids are experienced with SEX. Dang babies are having babies. I'm still too scared to have sex and yet kids are doing it. SAD isnt it?

but no, i watch my mom's best friend's kids (9 & 10) once in a while and even what they watch on the disney channel or cartoon network is a little old for them. but it's geared toward them!

And what is also sad is that at my highschool, i see freshman girls who are like 14 pregnant!! What's more sad is that everytime i see a new prego i just flat out say, "Well there goes another one." What's also disturbing is that you get used to seeing these things, so it's like nothing new to you. :/ These parents seriously need to teach their kids some respect.

I keep seeing all these little kids with phones. I hear them talk about their "relationships" (which is cute coming from a kindergarten/elementary schooler)i see them texting faster than me sometimes!
when I was in elementary school, a relationship meant holding hands in a hallway and hugging each other all the time, and texting was a word we all used for typing. oh elementary school.

i wasnt gonna write a comment on here because i thought all the stories were going to be basically the same but today my brother who is in 7th grade came home with big news. my brother said a guy in his grade got a girl in the 6th grade pregnant. she can't be but 11 or 12 years old and the boy 12 or 13. this is unacceptable behavior some one of that age there is no way either of them are physically ready or mentally either, they are still children there self and they shouldnt even be doing that.

I heard a rumor once that Disney would never again make a Princess film. Something about little girls not wanting to be a princess any more after they turn 6. I think from their they suddenly believe they are 16 with their high tech touch phones and laptops. While I was growing up there were very few kids in my generation who were growing up fast. I didn't start seeing a big difference in kids growing up till I was in the 7th grade when cell phones became a big deal and everyone had a bf or gf. Last time I went by my old school I was at a bus stop with a pregnant 7th grader and her best friend. Honestly I tried not to judge when they were doing the whole "whose the father" talk. The girl named 3 possibles and another boy who she'd hope it to be D=

i was at the store with my mom and sister and I walked off. I went to the entertainment section and there was a little girl no less than 8 or 9 wearing a dress that came mid thigh to her and a pair of stilledos. She had extentions(pink) and a cellphone. I over heard one of her conversations where she said she was gonna "hook up with that dude from Mrs. Worth's class." When I looked dumbfounded at her she asked "What the fuck are you staring at." You can pretty much tell when the world is getting f**ked up when you see 10 year old kids on facebook, posting songs on how they are heart-broken and pictures of themselves posing in a bikini with the latest-fashioned sunglasses, wearing heels and going to clubs, getting piercings and dying their hair, getting their face done e.g eyebrows, and talk on the phone 24/7. Yep, I've seen all this stuff. When i was 10 the only thing i had was a jumping rope and Pokemon caps.

Kids now a days are something different. They mature faster, have sex at VERY young ages, own cellphones when their like 6, have facebooks at 7, take slutty picture, and the list goes on and on. And its probably not their fault, more like the society we live in nowadays that has so much crap on tv and media and the parents that don't control where their children go, what they watch and who they are with. They can do whatever they want and thats changing kids. SAD STORY. :/
