I think the lyrics have dual meaning because they switch from Hiragana to Katakana. They could either be saying daisuki (I love you) or "dai Suki" where Suki is a proper name. They could easily dub this though:

That being said, the english version will sound odd to me too for the first time, as I have already grown used to the japanese dub.

Although, unlike other fans of the Rhythm Tengoku franchise, I will not continue to whine about the supposedly english inferior version and get used to it.

@JackOfSpades93 The dub for this level probably won't be bad. The "Daisuke"s will probably be replaced with "I love you" or something similar. After all, it's not really a full song, it's mostly just sayings.

I never had a problem with the dubs of the songs in the DS game, some of them just sounded out of place. But nothing bad.

It's strange though with dubs. Take Rhythm Heaven and the Idol-stage with the monkey-audience (I can't remember the name to save my life.) The English dub of that was horrible in my opinion - so I didn't have high expectations for the German dub. 'lo and behold, though, it was quite decent and not half as corny as I expected it to be. So one can only hope this will turn out good.
