the kennedy political dynasty could have gone on from 60 to 1984 through all the brothers, and they on into the next generation. the power elite could never tolerate that, so they had to stop them in order to pursue their evil selfish agenda without any serious threat or opposition.

This guy probably would have been president someday. If that a-hole George W. Bush could coast on his dad's name, John Jr. certainly would have been able to do the same thing. Remember, prior to the 2000 election, no one outside of Texas knew who George W. Bush was, but EVERYONE in the country knew who JFK, Jr. was. It's really a shame because, like with his father, we'll never know what might have been.

@LongLiveOx I can see JFK being president a 2nd term, I could see RFK becoming a president possibly running for 2nd term, and if that scandal didn't happen w/Teddy I could see him being a president, but JFK Jr.? I can't see it, he wanted to be an actor, he had the looks, but if he couldn't be an actor, I could see him being a great senator like his uncle Teddy was for many years. Although it would've been interesting to see him run for pres.

i never hated any of them. i was 5 when jfk died, and i remember it vividly.

we were cheated out of jfk, then we got a piece of him back with jr.

then he got ripped away, too.

it is all so sad.

Jackie did what she had to do to survive. She was beautiful, educated and had an aristocratic name. The Bouvier name was as close as Americans came to the old French aristrocrats. The one thing lacking she had no money or great family inheritance. She was hand picked by Joe,sr. for John for all these reasons, and he had to marry a Catholic. She was a great mother and I would of like to have met her and John,jr.

Actually Bouvier means "ox herder" in French. The Bouviers claimed high old country status, but it was never proven.

Jack Valenti says in the beginning: "people who hated the Kennedy's, and there were a lot of them" Hey, America, why do/did you hate the Kennedy's. It's a great family with the right value and the right stuff. Also the Kennedy's has its failors like any other family, but they have also a family feeling to be "...what you can do for your country", like JFK said. So why hate them? So I'm sorry if I express me in a rude way: you who hate them, go to hell! Bye, bye, bad guys, we don't need you.

@SUCKMEISTER005 So what you mean is: "Kill 'em all!" I say, we Europe and USA must work together. And some other countries too. We cannot allow China to take over all our production. There must be a balance between China and the West. Otherwise are all loosers, both the West and China. The friendship that JFK and RFK had with Europe is unique. Now Europe and USA always fight against eachother in politics, and that's a pity.
