I'm a Christian, have been my whole life. But there is an argument that is seriously making me consider going pro-choice.
First of all I think some of the reasons given by pro-choicers is complete bull. I think it's ludicrous to say that a woman should have an abortion in cases of rape because the unborn child reminds this woman of the rape. That would seem to me to be the same as being held at gun point by a criminal WITH my family present and then saying that I should kill my family...

All of those things you listed would be under the "Shit happens" category. Having a kid you don't want? You know you can give them up to adoption, thier are plenty of people who want kids but can't have any. Teen pregnancy is at an all time high, and it's because people are irresponsible. I have no definite stance on abortion, i'm not necessarily for or against it. For example if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant then there is no way i could say it's wrong for her to have an abortion. those restrictions are standard. we got the same in germany. and it works kind of fine. health insurance pays for an abortion if you cant afford it. you have to have a psychological briefing with your doctor, and an ultra sound and you have to wait at least 2 days. also you cannot abort after a certain time because the embryo already has developed to far or something. i think women are treated extremely sexist and rude in the US, getting imprisoned for still-borns? this stuff makes me sick...

When I got pregnant I was only 19 and I considered abortion. I couldn't go through with it because I couldn't afford it (I was pass the time for just the pill). But my reasoning behind my decisions was mainly the fact that I wouldn't be able to support the child (my 3 year old now) and that I didn't want him to go through the same poor childhood that I did. I never hated him, the timing was just not right. Many animals kill their young when they think they can't survive. Mothers know best.

those restrictions are standard. we got the same in germany. and it works kind of fine. health insurance pays for an abortion if you cant afford it. you have to have a psychological briefing with your doctor, and an ultra sound and you have to wait at least 2 days. also you cannot abort after a certain time because the embryo already has developed to far or something. i think women are treated extremely sexist and rude in the US, getting imprisoned for still-borns? this stuff makes me sick...

And that if medical science ever progresses to the point where we can save aborted zef's then it should be done. When I got pregnant I was only 19 and I considered abortion. I couldn't go through with it because I couldn't afford it (I was pass the time for just the pill). But my reasoning behind my decisions was mainly the fact that I wouldn't be able to support the child (my 3 year old now) and that I didn't want him to go through the same poor childhood that I did. I never hated him, the timing was just not right. Many animals kill their young when they think they can't survive. Mothers know best.

Free of rules, free to do as they wish. The conveniance of growing up with a lifestyle that never knew war, starvation and REAL oppression.
This is why, the more and more they reproduce, the lazier our liberal society has become. Look at Greece :P
