  • Now think about this," If we say before, middle, or end, then he will come in an hour that we think not. If we say the middle then we can say the exact year the Lord will come even down to the month. If we say the end, then the Lord will be right on time He's never late. Numbers are used all the time in the Bible, the number 7 means completeness there is no need for it at the end because he's setting up his Kingdom

  • No I wouldn't say they have it wrong, it's just what they see in the word of God, Just like it is the way you see in the word of God.. No man knows the time or the hour so it's in the air either way.. He said to WATCH

  • @ready4theKing Hi there, the final seven years before the return of Christ (with His saints) begins with the signing of the treaty, and yes tribulation will increase, but we are already in tribulation now.

  • I too believe the rapture will occur in the mid point of the tribulation. I actually suspect that the tribulation has already started with all the recent events and catastrophes that have been going on globally. Anyone else feel the same?

  • @zestyguy87 Thanks for your comments, we believe that we are already in tribulation, and that it will increase as the days go by.

  • Hi Sarah I'm a recent born again Christian and I have a question. Are all these modern day false messiahs and prophets fulfilling Bible prophecy?

  • @libraryquiet Hi there, glad to hear you have recently come to know the Lord. The Bible does predict the appearance of false Christs and false prophets so the answer is yes.

  • Hi I was wondering where in Scripture it says "mid tribulation" rapture. Thank you

  • @2010JESUSLovesYou. 1 Cor 51:52 says the rapture will occur at the last trumpet.

Keep that in mind and then read Revelation 11:15-19. The wrath of God is poured out upon the earth after the rapture. However the saints will go through a time of persecution from the Antichrist and his system first. Daniel 7:25. These are just a few verses, when you compare Scriptures together the picture becomes clearer.

  • So if your not a Christian, but you don't kill, commit adultery, still a virgin, don't drink or anything, your still a sinner? Were you bullied at school???

  • Hi there. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."Romans 3:23. There isn't any one of us that has managed never to sin. What does whether I was bullied at school have to do with this?

  • Dear Sarah I agree with you 100 percent. Even though I completely believe in the rapture of the church, I am spiritually preparing myself to have to go through at least part of the tribulation. Even though having to go through even part of the tribulation would be extremely difficult especially for Christians, I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel with non-believers. Take care.

  • Thanks for your comments, while I believe we should certainly be prepared for the times ahead we shouldn't worry. The same God who has met our needs and been with us in trouble etc throughout our Christian lives will not abandon us. Rather those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits!! (Dan 11:32) As you say, it is also an opportunity to share the gospel. While those around us are in turmoil not knowing what is happening, we as Christians have the answer for them.

  • @mb1968ca There is no PreTrib Rapture. The two Sackcloth Witnesses are the Lamp Stand and The Olive Tree. The "Faithful in Christ" is the Lamp Stand and the "Elect "is Israel. We will be the only witnesses on Earth to the True God. We will face Great Tribulation. But as in the days of Moses, we will be able to perform great miracles. We are The Woman in the Wilderness.

There will be a "falling away." Many will be those who bet their faith in a PreTrib Rapture.

  • go on believing your mind numbing home spun philosophies. i wish you all the best with your life as a slave, the amusing thing is when you die and realize its all been for nothing thats the true punch line....laters.

  • The sad thing is that it is those outside of Christ who are slaves, slaves to the law of sin and death. Jesus shed His blood in payment for our sins, for all those who are willing to repent and receive His forgiveness and ask Him to save them, there is a new freedom as well as a great eternal destiny. But for all those who reject this offer, hell awaits, and once a person is in hell they can't get out. There is no trial period, once you are there, your eternal destiny has been decided, by you.

  • i'm not saying i don't believe in god as such because i don't think anyone truly knows enough to make a definite opinion on this, but i personally don't believe the bible or any holy book is really the word of god, just an early but brilliant form of totalitarianism.

  • yakattack320, there are people who know enough to be sure of the existence of God, these are the born again Christians who know Him personally, who hear His voice and who walk with Him daily. the Bible is an amazing book, unlike any other, for the born again Christian no matter how many times you read it there is always something new, a new revelation, a new insight, a word of God for your situation etc.

  • hypothetical question, what if the rapture came and by that time humans had populated another planet and no ones here anymore?

  • Hi yakattack320. People can come up with all kinds of theories and ideas, but the reason we can state the rapture as fact is because it is written in the word of God, humans leaving earth to populate another planet is not.

  • hey thanks for the reply, but i believe bible is not the word of god, it was written by man, the main way you can deduce this is to look at the structure of the writing, it flips from first person to third person writing constantly, to be fair they weren't even that good at writing...

  • yakattack320, go and read the Bible and then come back and read what you just wrote. Oh - you read the Bible? No -- No, you didn't. Go and read it. Read and understand.

  • Oh yes yes-i have read the bible you nonce i went to christian school where we went to church throughout the week, and iv read it numerous times throughout my life, but i form my own opinions and don't believe everything i read i base my views on factual evidence, which there is absolutely none in your magic book of talking snakes inbreeding and pure fantasy.....show me evidence anywhere in any records or books that prove jesus even existed...oh no --no there is none...

  • Actually, there is a lot of documentation about the existence of Jesus -- in both secular and non secular writings. No one can doubt that Jesus walked this earth. Go and do some research, and then come back here to see how what you just wrote looks. Just be wary of "mockumentaries" and so called "biblical professors" who lie about what's in the Bible. But you have read the Bible, so you wont have any trouble seeing through their purposeful inaccuracies, will you?

  • hello blegemoth, send me some links or some of the names of the historians or scientists so i can have a look in a library, if you could, i'd be happy to have look. The only documentary that i've seen that i thought was interesting was one about the so called grave of jesus christ being found in Israel, which if it was would disprove the resurrection as there was remains in it, but i did not believe this film as the name Jesus was like John in our civilization a very common name.

  • I'm not going to get anything. It is not my purpose or intention to have people understand God's word by becoming an ancient history teacher. If you want to find out about such things 1). Documentaries wont help you, because they're made by atheists who just want to disprove what they don't want to believe. 2). Go and read the bible. Stop wasting your time and everyone else's time. If you don't want to research for yourself, you can't expect others to force feed your brain.

  • So you believe what is wriiten in the bible?

  • Yes I believe what is written in the Bible, if I didn't then I wouldn't be stating as fact things such as the deity of Christ, salvation, hell, the rapture etc.

  • And why should I believe what is written in the bible ?

I don't care about what Sarah believes. They are her beliefs. That has no validity for me.

  • Hi memully. If what was written in the Bible and what is happening in this world only applied to me then I would agree with you, but the world situation affects everyone who lives in it. In the same way rejecting the gospel affects all those who do so because they die without Christ and end up in hell. Look around you, the Bible predicts much of what is going on, and it is only going to get worse. Yet there is hope for all those who look to Jesus and wait for His return.

  • I believe in the rapture but not pre-trib. I dont believe that in the most important hour of mans history where people need to hear the word more than ever, that God will call home the Christians. Its just doesnt make sense to me. I think the rapture will happen towards the very end. It was wonderful listening to your views on this though. ~Raven

  • We believe the rapture happens toward the end at the end the bible does not say there is a pre-trib rapture. I don't understand why so many christians think they don't have to go through anything bad whenever christians throughthe ages have always suffered.

  • Hi there. Christians understandably would prefer to believe they won't have to face increased tribulation and hardship, but the closer we get to these things the more obvious it must surely be becoming that the Lord has another plan. He won't allow us to suffer beyond what we can bear, but we will have to make our stand for Him when many who have professed to know Him won't.

  • Hi Raven. How are you? Thanks for your comments.

  • HEllo Sarah, I am treading through. I quit smoking, going to church with my kids again, starting to get back into the word and just trying to hold onto hope that my daughters will be back under my covering soon. Gabby and Sophia dont know God closely and I fear for them so much. The days are coming near, yah know...At my church people are looking forward to Christ return but how can I? If my children dont know him than I fear that day. ~Raven

  • people from the east do not get this concept and it is meaningless to them that they can be without pain for their beliefs. i dont understand why god would give us the holy ghost and power over anti christ to just run away. yes, if you pray in the holy ghost, as a great english preacher did for hours a day, it will not matter how awfull people are, they will have to bow and the devil cannot stick around for long. Not enough trouble for westerners right now to realize this, it will come

  • Hi superkal2006 thanks for your comments. You are right, for some, suffering for their faith is an everyday thing. There is persecution in the West too, but it comes in a different way, not as obvious as the extreme beatings and martyrdom going on elsewhere, and yes, it is going to get worse, it needs to come to wake the church up.

  • I don't believe pretribulation rapture

  • Thanks for sharing your view.

  • So did you change your views on the pre-tribulation rapture recently?
