@spiritlover54 some water enters, its the same fabric as a bathing suit, so the water soaks through it. its not watertight.

Its a very pretty tail and te blue shade makes i seem more...swimmy like! XD And its ok if you use your knees but i could imagine it takes some time getting used to! Not that i would know (I'm getting a tail at some point...searching around). If you need practice i would probably take out the monofin, go to a pool and just get used to it like that then try the tail. Cause...well its the same thing just the other you'll look like a mermaid, right? =D
