There are many guilty parties in this move, Schultz for example, who sold the team to an OKC based group (what'd you think was gonna happen?) but you cannot blame a reactive approach from seattle. There was a massive fan movement, and other parties willing to buy the team. But Clay had 1 goal from day 1, and blew Stern until it was achieved.

I have followed this team since the days of Tom Chambers, Shawn Kemp, Nate Mcmillian, Shawn Payton Perkins and on and on. When the fans in and the city of Seattle decided to allow them to OKC I was very disappointed and quite frankly pissed. All i could think of is losing Durant & Collision bucause the teams future looked so bleak. Then OKC you stepped in and did what no other City can do. You embraced them like no other. My son and I will now drive from KC to OKC.

I live in Dallas and am a diehard Mavs fan, but I still think this is super cool. Classy fans. That's how you can tell that a city appreciates it's team: Cheering whether they when or lose. Unlike those spoiled Laker fans that booed their team on their homecourt.

(Westbrook/Harden) So no, the Sonics didn't make this team, the great coach we have, Scott Brooks, and the Thunder made this team. @knownotno We are working locally to find arena solutions. A major bill just passed allowing some tourists taxes to renovate or go to a new arena. You are right the fans were let down by our leaders. I wish we had a Maps. We are very liberal and funding our schools gets top priority. The snow job the Mayor did on the fans was Epic. Clay's antics didn't help and may be the root of our inability to root for Thunder. The team you have now is what we lusted after for 10 years. Fun to watch!
