My beagle Tomasso was a great howler and singer too. When I lived in Staten Isl. she would walk the beach with me but mostly she tore off down the beach and would find a dead seagull or bird to roll in. Then if she saw one of the wild bunnies that lived in the reeds and she would be gone for 45 min chasing it. During the New Years blizzard of 1996 my neighbor who had a beagle puppy of 8 months knocked on my door and he had run away and i set my beagle found him & brought him back
