  • Alton looks a lot better with trimmed hair. This kinda let go look isn't so good.

  • Hey! Hey Orange, Hey! ..........KNIFE.

  • omg i love the icey headache guy! ROFL

  • He calls everything 'spooky', the Bhuda Hand, and those toothpaste-mints X3

  • I've dubbed AB's version of that trademarked beverage "Orange Groucho" (Julius Henry Marx, get it?)

  • leverman!!!!!!

  • Good Eats is filmed next to where I live!!!! My friend Lives even closer !!!

  • he used the lactose man costume again. AB really loves his multitaskers.

  • I love blood oranges.

  • but who doesnt like the little mints made out of dried toothpaste?

  • "...spooky little mints made of dried toothpaste..." lol!

  • 4:35 I love the music that plays here, I crank it in every episode they play it in.

  • My mom used to make me those milk shakes. only she used 2 % milk and artificial sweetener. I recently tweaked the recipe a little and started using vanilla ice cream.

  • Has Itchy and Twitchy ever talked before?

  • But but I love those mints… and cucumber sandwiches.

  • my home town lake wales was in a good eats episode so happy wait why wasnt i told and i have friends wow work at floridas natural the didnt tell me i am sad now oh well but still cool

  • I don't even like oranges that much, but his enthusiasm makes everything he talks about sound good.

    Thank you for uploading!

  • blood oranges are the best kind of oranges imo

  • the drink is tang!!!!

  • no one reacts to an ice cream headache like that. They just groan.

  • I love oranges. I want one now.

  • Lever Man has the same costume as Lactose Man :D Gotta love the costuming department :)

  • @BlackWolfessUSCM LOL, I noticed that as well. I also like Alton's quote, "They bought that costume back in '99 and they're still trying to pay it off." Ah, gotta love Good Eats! :)

  • I'd like to point out that the juicers that he says don't produce enough leverage produce plenty of leverage unless your muscles don't work anymore. Inifinitely better than the one that requires the ribbed ones that you twist, and much cheaper than the one he suggests getting.

  • Using pure muscle negates the whole point of a lever. The point of "leverage" is to augment the amount of power created by the source. You might as well just squeeze it with your hands.

  • Except not really, because it does produce leverage... in fact, plenty of leverage. And using muscle to input energy is what you're doing, whether you use the small two-handled one that you can keep in a drawer or the counter-hogging monstrosity that eats your budget.

  • Orange julius tastes weird, odd and I rather much prefer orange juice itself.

  • Why doesnt the oj spoil the milk

  • @autobot63 Because it doesn't spoil it, I don't see why you got two thumbs for your comment...

Acids separate milk, but I mean.. putting the spurs to it with a blender will prevent that.

  • Come, let's away...to part 2!

  • They pronounce "lever" two different ways. In the same sentence, even.

  • "Come, let's away" What a Shakespearean quote!

  • I LIKE those spooky little mints made of out of dry toothpaste! They've been the sole redeeming feature of many a wedding and shower.

  • I LIKE them too!

Even though they're considered a little old fashioned today i stll love them!

  • Leverman! +++

  • "Spooky Little Mints, made out of Dried Toothpaste."

    ROFL

  • I was hoping he'd get into how to get rid of ice cream headaches :-)

  • Apply pressure to your head.

  • My daughters press the palate, but I don't know if it's the pressure that does it or the warmth of the thumb.

  • Not the palette. Try one inch behind the temples.

  • Watch Food network's "Food Detectives" they did a segment on how to fix that problem. I believe it's available on Youtube.

  • Drink a few sips of lukewarm water.

  • That's a really nice pocketknife he's using. It's a SOG Arcitech, and they're about $300 each.

  • [gasp]... how come not a kershaw???

  • that outfit is also used for lactose man skits

  • 0:08 - "Ching Chong." Is that supposed to be Mandarin?

  • he was reading the names of the different paint samples he had in his hands, one was called chingchong

  • ROFL! @ 5:53. His face is so priceless sometimes.

  • Uh, isn't an orange juicer a unitasker?

  • Well, in so much that it juices, but you can use it for just about any citrus agent, as well as pomegranates, the juice of which is notoriously difficult to harvest.

  • accually, he prefers blenders for pomegranites. he blends it, then strains it

  • did he say the albedo's are inedible?

    untrue...

I usually just eat them with it on.

or maybe I'm confusing it for another word.

I'm talking about the skin that protects each segment, not the pith. however, at 4:49 , he says "albedo,"

    hmm...

  • He was referring to the segment of the orange that had tough skin... kinda like the grapefruit. I'm sure you dont eat the segment between grapefruit... do you?

  • oh! no, I was thinking of the regular orange like a navel orange.

  • blood oranges......o.0

  • Spooky little mints made of dried toothpaste!! Hilarious!!! I love AB!!!

  • Ooooh I hope blood oranges do get their own show. :)

  • orengens are awesome

  • Alton's hair and glasses have gone ridiculous.

  • i was always waiting for an orange show. THANKS KHADGAR!

  • This was all so oldschool Good Eats. Lever Man, Monty Python references, GE Lawyers.

  • ORANGE JULIUS! I wonder if you can change that recipe to pineapple or something just by changing the juice.

  • Yay I love this episode, particularly because my last name is Tang.

    Oranges for the win.

  • asian lol

  • STILL waiting on smell-o-vision DX

  • It's a recurring joke, you fool

  • oh but 1 day technology will get better in the future so it may be possible

  • Comment removed

  • They did it once in 1960 in a theater. The film was called Scent of Mystery and used a timer to release each scent at the right time. I've heard Disney uses a similar technique in some of the attractions at their parks. Smell-O-Vision for tv is still years away though.

  • Is Smellovision in high enough demand in general to become developed even if it was possible?

  • Possibly for the video game industry?

  • Yeah, I remember Disney does it for some of the rides.

  • Surprised it took this long for them to do an Orange episode. =o

  • that was the first time I heard a noise out of the lawyers

  • i love oranges

  • this is really freaky....i just thought that good eats should make a show about oranges this morning....and next thing you know...wow thats freaky

  • i love this show so much
