Please people who don't know about the pop art movement don't comment.
Pop Art Movement made a mockery of how artists acted as some kind of super-intelligent demigods. Pop Art was about shallowness and it gave common people the right to express as the artist. Pop is the art of the masses. And this film is different from porn in it's message of nothingness. Actually it's not different at all and that's the point. It wanted to capture a snapshot of the modern life of the common people.
Warhol was not a director but he was a photographer, and some of his work is beautiful. even if Warhol the man was a swine. "Edie Screen Test" compares with the portraits of the great painters. I don't think he cared about Edie any more than Monet cared about water lillies.
Just my opinion, don't give a shit about those stupid reply comments this will have... And don't give a shit about the 543421546351thumbs down my comment will have.
I love the second film best with the man against the wall, the lighting that warhol creates in some shots it looks like the mans face is a skull! Very creepy very cool! IM A PITTSBURGHER, WE CREATE THE BEST IN EVERYTHING ARTISTS AND SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS!!!!!

Andy Warhol was the 1960s version of the Kardashians - no talent for anything except self-congratulation

@saaritahh I don't think Warhol actually wrote anything. He had assistants do it. Kind of a Socrates/Plato thing.

Cenię sobie takich artystów jak Warhol. Kręcą chcą, nikt im nie narzuca wizji, mają innych w dupie.

There are so many of Andy Warhol's films that are not available. Why is this? And where are they? And how would one find them?
