If they used this as the trailer originally, it would have been the blockbuster hit of the season, if shown everywhere. Too many good sci-fi shows get bucketed to sci-fi show "region". This show would appeal to a MUCH larger audience.

I sent this clip out to a bunch of friends, and most all said "Cool! is this coming out in theaters now??!!"

very well done! Great score, but also, great use of the score. You had the right marks for the beats as well as the silences. I've always wanted to do a trailer that had "If I start a war, I guarentee you'll see something new", so thank you!

And while spoilery, this trailer doesn't give away whether River is good or bad, which I think is the more important mystery/reveal.

i agree with MortarCat that it is too spoilery in terms of River's battle scene, but then that would have been ok for a secondary trailer, one to come out after the movie had been in the theatre for a week. that way the impact of the scene wouldn't be diminished for the die hard fans who would all go the first week. otherwise, great trailer !

I've seen a ton of Serenity trailers (official and fan-made) and this is the first one I'v seen that has wow factor. The music and choice of clips work together great, I think that the official ones should have had less dialogue and more action like this.

It has quite a few spoilers - like Reaver Slayer River. But I've seen a lot of movies do that and I usually forget when I see the film, so maybe not a bad thing (and Reaver Slayer River is certainly one of the coolest bits of the movie).
