@PadraikKasier My point with my previous argument was to prove that eventually, cultural development comes in different ways. occidental science was imposed to us americans by europeans because they thought our ways were rubbish, stupid, unreal, and they just came here and destroyed our culture and beliefs to "gift" us with the "universal" truth just like religion. In order for science to correctly predict anything and thus for our technology to work, there has to be a universal, absolute truth that science tries to describe as closely as possible. Science was founded by people who wanted to understand the principles of how the universe operated. Different thinking is great, only to the point were it furthers understanding of absolute truth. If it does no such thing, science says it should be discarded as a method of investigating physical phenomena.

@Libertinedreamful It means that the "official" science has failed to recognize humans as something more then sentient animals. Science considers higher states of consciousness as a "random evolutionary process" and thus fails to determine the reason of our purpose and existence. Like the song but it's meaning is completely throw away. I'm not sure if they're being serious but a lot of the people commenting clearly are. Perhaps take a moment to consider the amount of science involved in this song existing and being able to listen to it on YouTube. Science knows no good or bad, accomplishment or failure. It's the same as blaming all hammers for the murder of someone killed by one.

Science is nothing other then a tool that humans use. If morality seems to be being altered due to science it's because of the ethics of humans using the tool. Well. This is a testimony for them being a little dumb. Science is the method (art) of collecting objective facts and concluding these with unbiased conclusions. So you can be assured that you can use someones research as a base to your next research which enables us to stack knowledge. How people APPLY science is more up to governments and industry's who are great in illustrating mans general flaws. Science considers higher states of consciousness as a "random evolutionary process" and thus fails to determine the reason of our purpose and existence. Everything exists because of movement, that is energy. Without it there is no matter. To put it bluntly, our true existence, the "soul" is a small bit of the pure energy God used to create matter.

Make theory's and disband a theory if it's proven wrong, and create another theory in the attempts of gaining knowledge on how the world and how the universe works. For example, science has given us the ability to create enough food the feed the entire planet with relative ease. But no one is willing to do so because they want to use that ability to make money. Science is nothing other then a tool that humans use. If morality seems to be being altered due to science it's because of the ethics of humans using the tool. Faith has no more an effect on science then it does on a hammer and visa verse. That's why I think the song sounds like it means something, but really it's piffle.

What it has in common with living things is not evidence that it is a living thing. Life is the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, according to the oxford dictionary. Consciousness is unique to forms of life. It says that a spike in the graph occurred hours before the first plain struck the twin towers, then concludes that the 'random number generators' (there is no such thing as random in programming) respond to collective awareness of catastrophes.My question to you is, do these only respond to catastrophes in the West? @elporto I agree it is the news and the news can lie / hide truth some times.. but what the professor said cant be denied.If you think these devices don't work then why do they pick up those events(and are obviously not naming all events but generalizing a few)..Its also obvious news segments are only minutes long so they just gave basic information.. if you have any understanding of quantum science you would know everything is not matter like once assumed, everything is energy.

@Robmar420 The correlation may be undeniable but there are far more reasons for this to be completely untrue then true. I'm sorry but if such a breakthrough in the understanding of our universe had ANY weight behind it, it would be at least being discussed by reputable scientists. There is an immense difference between energy alone and energy used in consciousness. You're bending over backwards for this and it is unnecessary.

Also, if enough evidence had been gathered this would be scientific fact. My guess? It might have something to do with TV, radio and internet signals (since they demonstrably exist) manipulating the readings on the number generators... or nothing to do with anything. Now is there any evidence for your myth? No. Is it accepted among the worlds leading scientists? No. The real mystery is why anyone would believe this tabloid nonsense.

@Robmar420 The Einstein quote did nothing for your argument, perhaps if he'd have even alluded to consciousness it might have. You haven't address any of my counter arguments regarding why it would pick up on so few events, specifically documented heavily in Western media. Why is it not more likely that things we know to exist effect the devices, such as radio waves. If anything.

@Robmar420 You have no compelling evidence, which means it would be irrational to accept this as truth as it flies in the face of biological and psychological understanding. That video does what you did, gives a bunch of facts about the universe then concludes with something that the facts indicate nothing about. It's completely human-centric to think the process that we happen to have evolved which enable us to analyse stimuli is something common to the entire universe. Energy is, however.
