  • This song is about the things science has brought us. Weapons, pollution, war and death.

  • @InstaPickles Science also brought us medicine, though.

  • It's funny because there a lot of people saying "Yay! Go Religion!" When this song supports Neither Religion or science.

SOAD are a Atheist group and are not fond of Religion.

Take a look at War? and I-E-A-I-A-I-O, these songs prove the idiotic idea's of faith.

  • @TYTHERDGOON THE POWER OF RELIGION!! lol if you don't know check out "insanity not included."

  • @TYTHERDGOON How do you know they are atheist for sure? Did you ask them personally? Just because some of their lyrics aren't with either idea doesn't mean they are atheist.

  • @1Godsavesall1 Serj is Atheist he actually said it himself. As for the others idk.

  • Wow, what a horrible message in such an awesome song.

  • atv offroad fury 2 =)

  • @PadraikKasier btw.. many diseases are created by society to make money and make you buy their stuff.. or else.. things like pacebo effect wouldnt exist.. like the case of the doctor that cured a serious pulmonary disease by giving mints to its patient.. look it up Im sure you'll find it. ;)

  • @panks1995; Yeah, uh... no. But thank you for the offer.

  • Why make an arguement of a beautiful song!

  • They're just catchy words. They don't mean much to me. Science is demonstrable and proven.

  • @Kringe7 You may be right and its a fair point of view but I think the video tries to say that since science is basically knowledge, what makes it more acceptable than ancient knowledge that has come through experience that came generations before us and that it is still used in...for example... latin american indian cultures like witoto or wayu.. and that science slowly has tried to erradicate this kind of knowledge and make science stand out like the only true path of knowledge :)

  • @panks1995; Nobody relies on Native American religion for natural truth. In order for science to correctly predict anything and thus for our technology to work, there has to be a universal, absolute truth that science tries to describe as closely as possible. If "wayu" or oriental mysticism worked equally well as science, airplanes, generators, and western medicines would not work. You don't see a witch doctor when you have a staph infection, do you? You confound knowledge and wisdom.

  • @PadraikKasier Oh my god. People like you are the reason our world is fucked. You don't even understand the essence of science. It's about being open minded. There is no absolute, and while I'm an athiest who believes in science (But does not assume its absolute accuracy), I have more respect of open-minded thiests than ignorant athiests. I'm not saying that athiesm is ignorant, but there are far to manny ignorant and ARROGANT athiests who think their opinion is better than everyone else's.

  • @thatguywithnoname; I'm not an atheist. I'm a strongly conservative, traditionalist Christian, but my problem is that I'm not relativist or post-modernist.

Science was founded by people who wanted to understand the principles of how the universe operated. Different thinking is great, only to the point were it furthers understanding of absolute truth. If it does no such thing, science says it should be discarded as a method of investigating physical phenomena.

  • @PadraikKasier In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this song is about that same point. Our most potent element is realizing how ignorant we are as a race and thus become open-minded by accepting that we will never know everything. Science was founded by people who thought outside of conventional beliefs.

  • @thatguywithnoname; There is much to be learned from ancient cultures, spiritually and otherwise. I do not dismiss tradition as a source of wisdom. However, they are not on equal footing with the rigorous system science has devised to uncover truths about natural machinations.

  • @PadraikKasier You've missed my point entirely

  • @thatguywithnoname; Well, then I am sorry.

  • @panks1995 and theres nothing wrong with that, its just trying to be proven.

  • 1:35 ♥

  • hey dude...faith comes from within...your brain...one of the most complicated things for scientists to research....they knoelw quite a bit about the effects of LSD....anyway....science isn't perfected not even close....if a murder investigation was slandered as a failure in 2 hours you'd think that person didnt have muh of a brain

  • i got led here from something about the cows in China being alterd to make human-like milk

  • stand back everyone

    SOAD is gonna try SCIENCE!

  • Thumb up this comment if you love SOAD. I hate comments begging for thumbs. But if you don't like this comment it means you hate SOAD. And no one should. If you hate - you have no sense of music.HAHA

  • @juspe94 lol

  • @juspe94 Using good music as an attempt to get thumbs up, that's as low as it gets...

  • Lol. Obviously, very few people understand that science and technology aren't the same thing. Science is a method used to measure and understand the universe and everything in it. Physics, biology, chemistry, etc. are just fields of science - specialisations, if you will.

Technology is the tools we make. This includes

You should blame human greed and MISUSE of technology, not science and tech itself.

  • so these are guys are a christian rock band?

  • @TheGodXdethroned wait....what?

  • @TheGodXdethroned Lol are you kidding? Of course not.

  • @TheGodXdethroned Listen to Suite-Pee, that should answer your question.

  • @Moonchipz Do you understand what they mean in suite-pee? I doubt it. People use that song to say they are not religious. That's not true. They are against extreme people are organized religion, but they do believe in a God.

  • @RaquelfromPortugal I used to think Suite pee means to literally take a piss in a suite. lol

  • @TheGodXdethroned they're religious but i doubt their christian.

  • @TheGodXdethroned No they are Atheist actually.

  • Beautiful music ;]

  • 48 pessoal gosta de chupar um penis

48 people like to suck a penis

  • I am a spiritual person, i like science and love SOAD. Science fails to recognise the soul. What's the big fricking deal?! Has anyone read about spirits in a science book? no.

  • @Libertinedreamful Can't agree with you more.

  • @Libertinedreamful It means that the "official" science has failed to recognize humans as something more then sentient animals. Science considers higher states of consciousness as a "random evolutionary process" and thus fails to determine the reason of our purpose and existence. Everything exists because of movement, that is energy. Without it there is no matter. To put it bluntly, our true existence, the "soul" is a small bit of the pure energy God used to create matter.

  • @TheBladeEdge you are officially the smartest person on youtube.

  • @damnnnnnnnnn1 can't tell if serious or trolling... O_o

  • @TheBladeEdge total serious

  • @Libertinedreamful So? did science destroy the earth? yeah it did...

WE shouldn't be able to live up to 100 years...

Dont ever wonder why 2/3 of the world is starving to death...

I think science simply went to far...

People who dont agree with this song are living in a bubble...

  • @keeperoftheforest you made my stocmach hurt from the truth you just threw into my head.

  • @lithium2370 stomach

  • 48 dislikes...

    nice try Bieber!

  • @Destroyer777ify bieber still lives? :O omg i hoped someone already killed him in this time :/

  • @Destroyer777ify 51 Now...

  • Being a spiritual person and constantly getting bad grades at science subject in school, this is my favourite SOAD song. :)

  • being a strong atheist and science geek, this is the only SOAD song I dont like :(

  • 47 mother fucker!!!

  • science has failed our mother earth

  • i like dis song...

  • I remember this song in ATV Reloaded 2 when I first got my PS2. And then I would use the get all cheat so I could go in the desert level and have this song on loop because it fit so well with that level.

  • Great sound, but I strongly disagree with the lyrics.

  • anyone know the middle lyrics?

  • always thought it was "spare us these cruel things" not "spirits must rule all things"..my bad :p

  • @dueltruck700 Actually, I think it's "Spirits move through all things"

  • am I the only one thinking in Heisenberg's principle of indeterminacy?

  • i always jammed to this song on atv off road futy 2

  • foda haha

  • There aren't really any people that hate SOAD. (Other then the pop music/ rap music wannabee's) most are just Trolls making you look stupid, lol

  • still like SOAD though so chill haters

  • @VincentTheBlack777 Agreed god is useless. He sure is doing a wonderful job on world hunger and disease. Oh and the fact that countless savages in africa rape and pillage and go unpunished.

    goooooooooood....

  • Now this is what you call real music, thumbs up if you agree. ^.

  • 45 people are idiots who come here just to say you do not like the video.

  • i think it's silly to create a reality, so to speak, based entirely on observation through the physical senses, denying completely that there's something more. sometimes physical evidence isn't enough. i believe there is more to this world than the physical. science fails to recognize the single most potent element of human existence. . .

  • @jollygoth I honestly think science is not order...at all.. nor spirituality. science is destroying earth, destroying every belief that does not go according to its teachings because it is inferior and so this beliefs must be destroyed because science is humanities greatest achivement and biggest hope. Pretty much like religion if you ask me. sorry if my english ain't that good I nativley speak spanish.

  • @panks1995 Were just people who want to learn. We want to learn what is. Make theory's and disband a theory if it's proven wrong, and create another theory in the attempts of gaining knowledge on how the world and how the universe works. Logically finding them, not just saying "Because the man in the sky did it". People can believe in religion because it helps them or whatever but I like to be logical and rational :)

  • @panks1995 Science does none of those things. The human beings that use science pervert it's applications and meanings for their own gain. For example, science has given us the ability to create enough food the feed the entire planet with relative ease. But no one is willing to do so because they want to use that ability to make money. Science has not and cannot do wrong, it's simply knowledge; what we choose to do with it is completely on us.

  • @miguelloquendo999 Yeah me to...

  • @miguelloquendo999 yeah, okay.

  • @miguelloquendo999 Como um comentário tão inútil como esse, recebe tantos votos assim?

  • @miguelloquendo999 What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on Youtube is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no respect, and may God have mercy on your soul.

  • @VEVOTroll I'm aware that this comment has been plagiarized, but I can't say it bothers me much.

In fact, it brought quite a joyful tear to my eye.

I applaud you, sir or madame.

    Keep doing what you're doing.

  • @miguelloquendo999 You don't say?

  • wtf is with the paragraph long comments? find a chat forum u manginas

  • The fact that you think humans need faith to be morally "right" shows how little faith you have in humanity itself. It's just a song for fuck's sake, let it go. Go have a religious debate on a Richard Dawkins' video, not here.

  • @Wootdafook After joining in the debate your last sentence is even less valid then it would have otherwise been. Well done.

  • esta cabron!!!!!

  • Good potato

  • Like the song but it's meaning is completely throw away. I'm not sure if they're being serious but a lot of the people commenting clearly are. Perhaps take a moment to consider the amount of science involved in this song existing and being able to listen to it on YouTube. Science knows no good or bad, accomplishment or failure. It's the same as blaming all hammers for the murder of someone killed by one.

  • @elporto sciene knows no failure? you ever hear of the atomic bomb?

  • @spidakid72 "Mans reach exceeds his grasp". Not sciences reach. Mans reach

  • @elporto I'm sorry but you don't fully recognize the meaning of this song. He isn't saying we should throw away science completely. He is saying that we are losing touch with morality by focusing too much on logic. "Potent element of human existence - faith" These words are true, we all need faith, we all need a balance of everything.

  • @123cookies4life345 The line "Science has failed our world" is fairly straight forward. Even if he meant what you assume he does then my analogy with the hammer still stands. Science is nothing other then a tool that humans use. If morality seems to be being altered due to science it's because of the ethics of humans using the tool. Faith has no more an effect on science then it does on a hammer and visa verse. That's why I think the song sounds like it means something, but really it's piffle.

  • @elporto When you talk about "faith" I agree a lot of people are set in their ways and believe modern day religion. Spirituality is completely different though my friend you have to realize we are one with the earth. The earth is a living organism with consciousness like you or I.. It produces electromagnetic energy, just like all living things on this earth. Saying the earth doesnt have feelings and thoughts is like saying you or I don't. We,along with nature are cells of this earth,The whole.

  • @Robmar420 Who suggested we were anything other then part of nature? But the Earth is not conscious, nor are trees, clouds or hammers. What it has in common with living things is not evidence that it is a living thing. Life is the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, according to the oxford dictionary. Consciousness is unique to forms of life. If this is some metaphoric viewpoint it has no significance. If you're being literal, then you're plain wrong.

  • @elporto Anything that produces electromagnetic energy has consciousness, thats something useful science has taught me.To tell me the earth is not a conscious organism is just plain wrong, there are so many devices being used around the world to measure its consciousness aswell as our own. You will probably grasp none of this but,our bodies are made up of trillions of cells..Which are spread around our body and have their own special jobs. We are spread around the earths body, doing the same.

  • @elporto So in conclusion, do your homework and you will realize we are all apart of the whole.. connected to the energy field as ONE living entity. There are cells that make us up, then we are the cells that make up the earth and the earth is one massive conscious entity in an unexplored universe filled with consciousness. Research Dr. Bruce Lipton..He is a genius in biology and has spent his life researching it. He has made amazing discoveries which are praised by scientists, but hes wrong?

  • @Robmar420 You go from vague hippy bullshit, to a bit of children's biology and then leap to one outlandish conclusion. Where is an experiment that suggests the earth has consciousness? It's preposterous bullshit. Consciousness is the result of perception and requires very particular cells arranged in a very particular way. The brain. Plants are not aware, hammers are not aware, the individual atoms that create the brain are not aware and nor is the Earth, as romantic as it might be.

  • @elporto You are the biggest waste of time I have ever encountered. Plants react to stimuli, plants feel things.. It may not have an intellectual capacity but it does produce electromagnetic energy.. this energy emits frequencies that can be picked up with scientific instruments. Scientists see spikes on these devices when big world events happen.. bombings, diana's death, pope funeral and 9/11 all registered strong consciousness levels. On 911 the frequencies spiked hours before the first plane.

  • @elporto If your brain can handle that thought, that means our consciousness is connected to the electromagnetic field.. the reason the meters started going off hours before the first plane is because the few people who did know about it before hand share a consciousness with everyone and the earth. I will link the video where a retired Princeton scientist explains this.. its only 3 minutes long. /watch?v=bFNNjltMnxU

I bet you wont accept the information given to you.. too thick headed.

  • @Robmar420 Personal attacks make your argument seem all the weaker. As does you're pseudo-science babble. Correlation is not causation; You link me to one correlative observation and a hypothesis then expect that to be convincing? It isn't for any rational skeptic. Even the story reporting this piffle gets it wrong.

  • It says that a spike in the graph occurred hours before the first plain struck the twin towers, then concludes that the 'random number generators' (there is no such thing as random in programming) respond to collective awareness of catastrophes. My question to you is, do these only respond to catastrophes in the West? Because to have so few spikes over so long shows that if anything, the world does not give a fuck about 99% of global catastrophes.

  • @elporto I wanted to stop reading this(but didn't) after you said "there is no such thing as random in programming" I have created many SIMPLE programs that can generate random numbers, letters ECT. Hmm lets see another example, my fiance plays Yahtzee online on our Xbox 360.. You think the dice being rolled aren't coded to be random? Because even I know how that kind of code works I learned that in high school give me a break. I'll answer your question(s) in the next comment.

  • @Robmar420 If you created the exact script to produce an identical random number generator in the exact circumstance of the first then the sequence of numbers will be the same every time. How is that in ANY way random?

  • @elporto I agree it is the news and the news can lie / hide truth some times.. but what the professor said cant be denied. If you think these devices don't work then why do they pick up those events(and are obviously not naming all events but generalizing a few)..Its also obvious news segments are only minutes long so they just gave basic information.. if you have any understanding of quantum science you would know everything is not matter like once assumed, everything is energy.

  • @Robmar420 The correlation may be undeniable but there are far more reasons for this to be completely untrue then true. I'm sorry but if such a breakthrough in the understanding of our universe had ANY weight behind it, it would be at least being discussed by reputable scientists. There is an immense difference between energy alone and energy used in consciousness. You're bending over backwards for this and it is unnecessary.

  • Also, if enough evidence had been gathered this would be scientific fact. My guess? It might have something to do with TV, radio and internet signals (since they demonstrably exist) manipulating the readings on the number generators... or nothing to do with anything. Now is there any evidence for your myth? No. Is it accepted among the worlds leading scientists? No. The real mystery is why anyone would believe this tabloid nonsense.

  • @elporto “Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.”

    ― Albert Einstein

By the way many people are actually waking up to what I'm talking about and is accepted by more than just one Dr.

This is from the same youtube user as before.. watch this and tell me I'm still wrong and why... I'm glad to have discussions with skeptics. /watch?v=6I8bHX_1VfI

  • @Robmar420 The Einstein quote did nothing for your argument, perhaps if he'd have even alluded to consciousness it might have. You haven't address any of my counter arguments regarding why it would pick up on so few events, specifically documented heavily in Western media. Why is it not more likely that things we know to exist effect the devices, such as radio waves. If anything.

  • @Robmar420 You have no compelling evidence, which means it would be irrational to accept this as truth as it flies in the face of biological and psychological understanding. That video does what you did, gives a bunch of facts about the universe then concludes with something that the facts indicate nothing about. It's completely human-centric to think the process that we happen to have evolved which enable us to analyse stimuli is something common to the entire universe. Energy is, however.

  • @elporto thanks for being there a month of so ago to rebut this retard robmar420 and his bullshit. i commend you.

  • @volound haha thanks

  • You're doctor Lipton is either a charlatan exploiting people like you to sell books on myth, or an outright ignoramus. I'm on his website trying not to piss myself. You need to be more skeptical. Seriously. This is not science or anything remotely close to science. It's wishful thinking supported by self fulfilling anecdotal twaddle. He has a featured article up; "Energy healed me... over the phone!". It's pure gold, great reference. You want to play academic top trumps, Stephan Hawkins.

  • @Robmar420 So . . . if I understand you correctly, which I think I do because you're being pretty staightforward, WE are the Earth's cells? Literally? And the earth is a conscious being just like us? And for the grand finale, your evidence! It has an electromagnetic field. Uhm . . . so? Just because living things have electromagnetic fields doesn't mean all things with electromagnetic fields are living. Humans have eyes. Are all things with eyes human?

  • GOD is UNIVERSAL
