  • hey where can I buy a giant charcoal grill like the one Steve has??!!

  • @PileFanning - thanks for your interest in Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen. The website for Primal Grill will offer you a lot of information. There is one page, under "TOOLS" where you can get a lot of info on the tools used in the program, including grills. Here is a link: primalgrill(dot)org/Tools.asp

  • This man is a living legend

  • can`t waite to throw my relavants steaks right into the coles. that is so cool

  • Wtf they are black.

  • "and you don't even need a grill!!!!.... now as I put my charcoal on this grill...."

  • @freezazoid "...and you don't even need a grill grate." :)

  • what a shame over cooked the steaks :(

  • @Elementecho - i think you may have missed the point of the process, so make sure you watch until the end... when Steven cuts the cooked steak, it is clearly cooked right... the outside will definitely get charred when you are laying meat directly on the coals of the fire.. but that is the goal of the recipe... as Stephen states in the video: "you get a surface charring, a crust and a smoke flavor you just cant achieve on a conventional grill" give it a try and enjoy!

  • @MPTnational No I watched the whole video and understand the point of the process but he still overcooked it in my opinion. Black and Blue is the way for me.

  • man those T-bones look so good i bought 6 of those and am grilling them sat.nite i'll post a video when i cook them

  • I'm totally trying this.

  • Raichlen is fantastic. I've been videoing the results of a lot of his recipes on my channel. So far, I think the best was the cuban pulled pork. Yum!

  • the only thing I didn't like about this was the glass of wine at the end.

I'm doing this, I've done similar camping in the past, but hell that deserves a beer Guiness, or whiskey.

Thats like ordering caviar & a can of Shlitz, you just don't do it man!!!

  • @daveh013 - thanks for your thoughts... of course, you can substitute any of your favorite beverages to enjoy with the meal... Steven just happens to be well versed in fine wines.

  • @bugdog9 ... you can find all the tools that Steven uses on his program on his website at the following link:

  • My family did this. Even recorded a video of it, just because the idea was awesome. Hopefully it'll post on here...

  • Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen, a favorite of mine. Family and friends know, from 3:30-4p.m., do not disturb. Even on my thirtieth birthday (May 15) the rule stood.
