And you can hear the influence that those bands had on modern hardcore bands like Comeback Kid. Hardcore music just evolved into a modern form to keep breathing and living. Black Sabbath was called metal, does that make Entombed not a metal band?

@jerma7x there are a lot of people that are very educated in the tangents of punk influenced genres, one being hardcore, that developed in the 80's with bands like Minor Threat, Black Flag, and Circle Jerks, just to name a few. Needless to say, Black Flag is indeed a hardcore band, and one of the first just to be fair. Hardcore and punk are not that different, it just depends on who you decide to parallel. But some consider Converge to be metallic hardcore, listen to them beside CBK. Consistent?
