Hi Clint Around 2 am is about the best time to listen and fades out before dawn, JJY is stronger on 60 Khz up to S9 using My 160 Metre antenna with the 160 tuner switched out. I have not heard WWVB as yet
Hi Lionel...this is really interesting, I purchased the up converter from Paul at PC-Loops at last years Ballarat Hamfest, I haven't had much luck in hearing stuff, however today I borrowed two "active" loops made by Paul covering 10 to 30KHz and 30KHz to 136KHz this seems to help but I'm not sure about reception of WWVB not sure what it sounds like, your recording of JJY on both 60 and 40KHz is amazing, does JJY come in all the time?...how well do you hear WWVB?

I was using a LF converter using an IC-706
as a tunable IF on 2 Mhz ie 40 Khz to 2040 Khz..
