Un splendeur. Sans doute un peu moins souple et facile qu'à New York en 1974- les rôles plus lourds sont plus nombreux, le répertoire a commencé a prendre une nouvelle orientation.

Mais quel témoignage de la fabuleuse versalité de Caballé.

I watch these wonderful testaments to music and art. A truely worthy and wonderful tribute to La Caballe… yet I have been filled with a great sadness all the while. As with Callas, Tebaldi, Gencer, Ponselle… there will never be another like Caballe. She has sung for so long.. 20 years already at the time of this video! 20 years of operatic singing and sounding like this! Sometimes we never really understand the importance and greatness of something till it passes… loving regards,
