You know what's funny, I pulled up to a Cycle Shop not knowing it was strictly Harley and he said I only work on real bikes...Honestly I really don't care what it is, If I'm riding I'm golden.

Even Eric Buell has dropped Harley Davidson like a fresh turd- The newest (and by far fastest) Buell is a worthy performer, because it DOESN'T use a Sportster engine- It's based more on the Aprilia V-twin and less on something Fonzie would have ridden. Image is nothing, therefore, everything about HD is a farce, a hollow halloween costume sold custom-wrapped in an american flag.

Went with a Buell S1 lightning and that thing was such a POS it almost killed me when the rear axle went to crap on me at 80mph. Decided to go japanese with a CBR1100XX and now a busa. These bikes do everything so well and are comfy, I can't bring myself to go back to hogs. Harleys are nice, just their riders, like some sportbike riders, are morons.
Harley makes mostly touring bikes. They don't make sport bikes. They have extremely similar(and in many cases better) power/weight ratios as imported touring bikes. You don't know what you're talking about.
ummmm, even Harleys "Hi-perfomance" bikes come in well below nearly every imported bike. A V-Rod has a power/weight ration of approx .161hp/lb (to the ground) while the 98+ Suzuki Katana 750 has a .179hp/lb ratio. A Sportster 1200 has a p/w ratio of .147hp/lb, and a GSX-R600, at half the displacement is .276hp/lb, and a Kawasaki Concours 14 has a similar p/w ratio at .279 on a pure TOURING bike.
