I am a bit confused about Istikhara. Ive always heard that u do it when u are confused and need to choose between two things, but I heard in one of ur lectures (maybe I misunderstood..) that u do istikhara AFTER u have made a decision but since u dont know if its good or bad for u, u do it and if its facilitated for u then its good for u, if its not then it was bad for u. plz clarify jazakAllah Khair

@QuranVsHadith Isn't it a criterion in the science of Hadith, when judging the authenticity of a narration that it shouldn't contradict any verses of the Quran, or a more authentic narration, or the teachings of Islam? This just shows you have little knowledge of this science, and are ignorant of the oral literature the Arabs used to cherish in those days, more so than written works.. Read Arab history, people would orally preserve stories, odes, poems, narrations, it's just as authentic.
