Out of all the films that Audrey Hepburn made "The Nun's Story" is my absolutely favorite film of Ms. Hepburn!!! She should have won the Academy Award for role of the sensitive but very strong Sister Luke.

Have seen this film several times an the feeling is always the same one of foreboding,not sure if that was what they were going for ? Audrey is always a delight to see !!

@sheriwhispers ...read the book. the answers are there and you will enjoy it very much. remember that all must be taken in the context of history both in the world and in the convent at the time. this is about the sisters of charity of belgium...look them up and read of their history and it will also help in finding answers. good luck!
