  • and btw Refuge does not make one a ''buddhist''

  • what great idea? everithing is impermanent. if you realize, you deserve to call yourself a buddhist, if not, don t think that Refuge will save you form death. it will not.

you are just like the people next door saying ''let s save the 100 year old grampa of...'' he is dying, what do you want to do? we tibetan buddhists in the past were greatly attached to Tibet. now maybe the holy Guru s want to give us a lesson on impermanence :) Namo Guru be :)

  • great video

    great idea

    free tibet!

  • Your Tibet Oral History Project is very awesome!! flirtycams, org is free by the way

  • wonderful video..thank you so much!

  • Thanks for the video.. Its an excellent project to record the sufferings of our ancestors before they perish. I pray that the those Tibetans who have suffered under Chinese colonization may born in a free society and free of all suffering in there next life. And I pray for myself that I would be born as a Tibetan and close to Kundun in every life.

United we stand and Divide we fall...... Get up Stand Up..Stand up for you Right.

    FREE TIBET.

  • This is a good idea, witnesses are slowly dying!

  • i agree, thanks for this video on a very worthwhile project.

bg24955, it'd be great if you knew someone who witnessed the scenes you describe or someone who heard of it when it happened.

it's no comparison but one of the most beautiful gifts i ever received was a recorded interview of my parents which my brother and his wife did years ago. they prompted them on things about their youth, hopes, desires, perceptions of the world in which they lived. my father since died..to hear his voice again!

  • beautiful video!

  • thank you for this video

  • Id like to contribute to the project information regarding Tibetan freedom fighters incredible acts of bravery on the battlefield.

It is said that facing the entrenched Chinese machine gun position, Tibetan monks would form a charging wave of shock-troops formation armed only with big knifes and Buddhist statues believed to be magical. Such incredible deeds should go down into the annual of military history, like the famous polish Calvary Brigade recorded by Heinz Guderian.
