  • Harleys say potato victorys say pataato

  • im tossing up between a wide glide and a victory vegas, what do you think?

  • I think Victory are easy to work on and they are coming a big way...however, I personally prefer sticking with HD!

  • @bolo98 if indian release a smaller model, im right on board

  • @vhghe Wide Glide, of course. I own a 2010.

  • @vhghe

I sold my softail and bought a victory vegas and sold it so i can get a wide glide. Victorys are nice but it aint the same as owning a harley.

  • @vhghe Yeh never had a girl ask me for a ride on my "victory" lol

  • wide glide - as far as im concerned is the coolest bike there is - its comfortable, great in city great long distance tourer, looks like a big ol sexy girl just waiting to be rode hard - ride it hard brother - like youd ride maria conchita alonsa

  • I can't believe you parted with your Wide Glide. Oh well, someone out there is going to latch on to one sweet ride.

  • I totally agree with you...I couldn't resist the love of a Rocker C...I will post a video of the new bike and hopefully you will know what I am talking about...However, I m still in love with the wide glide and I wish I could afford keep in it!

  • Yeah baby.... Wide Glides Rule. Best bike Harley ever designed.

  • If you trade that beautiful piece of machinery for a street glide I will write you an angry letter! and thats not a threat, its a PROMISE!! :)

  • I hear ya...ended up not buying that street glide...Rocker C instead...what do you think?

  • Very nice. Personally I would have kept the Wide Glide. But thats my opinion, the rocker C is an amazing bike, thinking about getting one myself to add to the collection.

  • First and only rule...never part with your Wide Glide. Nuff said!

  • Truer words have never been said - I have a 97 and I'll never sell it

  • sometimes l think about trading my 06fxdwg in... yeah right... as soon as l lift the cover off l'm in love again. l'll keep my wideglide thanks... l've been on plenty of long rides without any discomfort or fatigue. only got that on my cbr

  • I have the Wide Glide and there's no way in hell I'll let mine go! The legs can get a little tired on longer rides, due to the forward controls. I put on a set of heel rests for the longer rides and they work great. Hey, sometimes you have to sacrifice a little discomfort to be on the top.

  • Right on! this is true...I think you get used to the discomfort quick...but after experiencing the smoothness of the Rocker C (FXCWC)...couldn't wait anymore :)

  • It's good that you stuck with a Harley. The Wide Glide has been my favorite since I was young. The Rocker C is a cool looking ride.

  • I think I will go try a Rocker C. You have me questioning it now.

  • hi, that's an amazing bike, its chopperish design always fascinated me but i was told it feels a bit uncomfortable during medium-long range rides, is it true?

  • It is true...you feel exhuauted quicker than usual

  • Same here, I've always liked the design of this bike. Great styling. The ride isn't that bad, heel rests help alot.

  • dude! why would you trade it? what don't you like about it?

  • It is an awesome bike...the only thing that bothered me is the vibration on the pegs even when I switched them, it didn't help...I ended up falling in love with the Rocker C...so I just purchased the 2009 one... it'a juat thw awesomeness of the smoothness and the power!

  • Yeah, I know what you mean you re right...HD had discontinued the wide glide. It's a great bike...Thanks for your remark

  • Is it just me, or did HD discontinue the wide glide?

I wouldn't trade it in cause you'll be the only one out there with one of these bikes later on. Do you know what I mean?

  • I picked mine up in 07. They're discontinued, but I don't see any reason they won't come back. I'll be the first to admit that HD was making a hell of a profit margin off the wide glide. When they bring it back, I know it'll be relatively reduced in price so they can move more. They won't reduce the price from one year to the next, probably given the outrage of current WG owners.
