Ive been a fan of Rodney "Skeet" Curtis bass playing since his days with Parliament Funkadelic. Its good to both him and Maceo are still doing their thing!

This isn't even a solo, it's just a bass line to a song. And Maceo was more than likely informing someone in the band of a change or modification to the song he wanted to do. Don't be stupid.
